When did we last have a prolific striker. None under Bobs tactics. Is that the problem?
With a few long balls cutting out the tippy tappy maybe the strikers may start scoring goals.
In reality we have to live with what we have whatever that is.
Premier League after all is nothing to do with fans and supporters at all and our opinions mean
SFA on here and anywhere else. We just have to put up with the overated dross like we have done now going on in to 4 seasons.
Hugo Franco Moses Scotland Sammon Kone Boseli and others It isnt a coincidence that they dont score goals at Latics. Face it if they did they would be sold off cheaply anyway to keep subsidising the fortune that all the players take out of our game. Its one of the big clubs out of the way. Better now than in the relegation dogfight to come.
Its only the 7th league defeat so far this season.
It was another chance to give Watson Jones and Gomez a run out.
It didnt put us in the bottom three. How about this one for when we play the Hub Capper or Villa.
To the tune of Amore.Villa wanted you, but then you gave them two.
That’s Roberto.
Then the Scouse wanted you.
So then you gave them two.
That’s Roberto.
Wigan wanted you.
You said, ‘That will do’
That’s Roberto.
Wigan wanted you.
You said ‘That will do’
That’s Roberto
That’s Roberto.
That’s RobertoIronical to think hat the massive fortune we turn over plus gate and other income is just enough to pay the mercenary players and their parasitic agents.
Average players like Moses Diame and Rodelega on 60k a week is laughable.
Only good thing about the Premier league is to be there and take the mick.Only one explanation. We are Wigan Athletic and that is it. We have had to put up with unexplainable rubbish like this throughout our history. It is plainly and simply a disgrace.
I remember the Pop side at Springy being limited to something like a thousand. Are Claude and I worked it out that a thousand fans could stand with their arms outstretched and not touch another fan.If we could sell them every home seat including no mans land/netted off areas seats sold just like every other ground in the league and if wolves dont sell out and there was a demand then home fans should be able to buy tickets in the north stand and segregation made by a single line of stewards again like it is done on the rest of the grounds in this stinking league.
What a fantastic place that was with so many memories. Such a shame that no one had the foresight to realise the vast amounts of land it sat on and how suitable it could have been to build a new stadium on that sight. Such a shame that the public in Wigan contiuously put into power a council that degraded and victimised our football club and such a shame that that council are still put in power to degrade, insult and run down our football club with the segregation issues that continue to this day ie 25100 seats should mean 25100 supporters potentially able to attend.
Come on Wigan get shut of these jokers.Maybe the worst possible interpretation of the ruling is applied in Latics case. Well that is obvious.
This is almost certainly a dig at our club by the powers that be on various commitees on Wigan Council whose track record in anti Laticsism reads like a book.
Strange how the biggest thing to put Wigan on the map in the eyes of the world is Wigan Athletic FC. Dont you think by now they should lose this blinkered perception.
Think before you vote. Not that long ago Dave was supposed to have been handing the ground ownership over to Latics.
After all we owe him nowt money wise because whtever Dave has put in to Latics financially he as taken out in prestiege ,advertising and marketing from his other interests.
IE JJB DW splashed all over the worlds press and on the worlds TV for the past seven years and more.Love the gaggling gits.
That dream left us when Heskey, Palacios and Taylor were sold closely followed with Valencia and Cattermole.
Can not think of a worse one in many years following Latics. Telford? no. Canvey Island? no.
It was a disgusting result.Remember the arrest on arrival incident. It was Brentford. The lads had just paid then walked up on to the terrace and then promptly escorted out.
A real classic. But Jesus they were ratted.Ooh suits u Claude. Skint La.
Season ticket sales may go up but at the expense of pay on the dayers. Afraid the crowds will continue their downward trend unless there is something to smile about on the field.
