Yesterday would have made sense to have kept Keane in a midfield role. Played Bennett as left wing back and have Wyke and Broadhead as the two strikers.
That would have given us Lang Shinnie and McClean on the bench.There’s been plenty transfer activity. One signing and plenty leaving.
Ok the ones that have gone are no great shakes and couldn’t get regular spots in the team but we have come up a level and at the moment have a weaker squad than the squad that finished last season.
What is more worrying is the absolute diabolical communication between representatives of the club and the fans and supporters. Could only be described as amateurish at best.47 quid is an absoloute rip off for something that cost pennies to make but thats what it is and thats what football is nowadays. Firstly there is no Boston stand and its capacity is 8500 and the South Stand is the Leam Richardson Stand. Don’t think there were enough paying customers to pay the rent and buy the success that cheap rent allows.
Well up to now without any information about allocations, ticket sales and prices it’s difficult and its slapped right in the middle of everyone’s summer holidays it’s a difficult one

Should change the name to Guess how many season tickets are sold, guess the pay on the day prices this new season, guess the South stand away allocations this season. Even guess when new kits are available, guess the stadium name, guess who the home friendlies are guess when the club are going to start communicating with fans or better still Guess when our club are going to employ a marketing manager and press officer because the efforts this close season have been amateurish at best and we are desperate for a communications and marketing manager.
If the lads are getting a tad tired then what’s wrong with resting tired players. We had a bench full of players eager to go. A striker in Humphrys with splinters in his arse. Watts who is young and keen. Shinnie with all his experience. Then Theolo a young match changing genius. I mean Humphs brought on when it’s over. If they are tired why did we cancel the original Burton game to piss off to the sun? That could have been played and won with the players we still had. We wouldn’t have done any worse but oh no it meant playing the game in midweek ahead of Easter which is notoriously busy. What happened? Ballsed it up at home to Cambridge. One bloody point at home to Cambridge and this season would have been put to bed but we went for a mid week game through choice ahead of it and made the most ridiculous tactical change of the season too. To think we could have even beaten Burton without the international players at that time.
