Hey don’t forget the Wee Donkey!
Shinnie shines, Power provides. I thought Max had more freedom to push forward with Shinnie beside, and sometimes behind him.
Looking forward to Saturday’s combination and maybe Thelo getting some time.
It’s all about opinions. I thought Shinnie looked great with a drop of the shoulder here and there and liking up playing, most of the time.
Hopefully, one of the positive from last night’s game is it should clear some of the permutations that Leam must be thinking of when selecting him team.
Last week’s combination of 3 left backs was a masterstroke against Arsenal U21s
With Max Power staring both games
It really wouldn’t surprise me if we actually tried that Mutty.
I think I’d go if we get there, although we could potentially go to Wembley 4 times yet, I couldn’t afford to go to all of those.
It’s still a big “if” about getting to the final, but if we did, would it be fair on the youngsters if we suddenly put our strongest team out?
Wow Mr Goals! You must be goosed after writing that!
Let’s hope you’ll soon be our Wembley correspondent.
What encourages me is that we’ve won matches in different ways taking the lead, coming from behind and winning the game twice as we did yesterday.
It also a good sign that we can raise our game when we need it during a match, is a quality which we’ll definitely need to keep for the rest of the season.
I would like to say “we need some clean sheets”, but sods law would probably lead to a run of 0-0s
This season is turning into some ride and with the new signings still to play, where will it all end?
A great win after we dug ourselves out of a hole again. Food for thought how the substitutions changed the game for us. We definitely looked stronger with Lang out wide and a target man to aim at.
Leam’s never used this competition as anything more than a fitness exercise for players who need minutes on the pitch, same as the League cup. I’d guess he’ll do the same again until the final (if we reach it).
I predict 9090
If we draw Arsenal/Chealsea in the 4th round of the FA Cup, can we play both matches at once?
Just asking for a friend
It was certainly worth braving the cold to watch a 6-0 win.
Was the strong line up a training exercise, or are we going full tilt for the treble?
