It depends on what the add on’s are, we could yet still get a lot more money from him yet, and maybe a loan back to us next season?
That was a performance of true guts tonight, I’m so proud of the team the fans and the town tonight.
WE WILL BEAT THIS TOGETHER
Without doubt we’re all doing our bit to rally round support for our magnificent club.
Today I’ve paid for 2 cardboard cutouts to go in the Stand before Wednesday’s match. I think seeing a full stand (if not stadium) would give a very visual show of support to the team, and the wider watching world. We love this club and we’re going to beat this!!That is a fantastic letter that captures the whole set of circumstances perfectly.
Well done and thank you jay (and others) for carrying this fight so effectivelyUP THE TICS!
It’s nice to see you back Vat, along with some others.
I’m so proud of everyone’s response to the situation, the fight and love for the club, our club. The letters, petitions, podcasts, captain Sam Morsy’s message and the rising just crowdfunding total have been truly amazing and inspiring. If nothing else it’s brought everyone together and I’m sure it must make us a more attractive prospect for any potential buyers.Together we will beat this with dignity, respect, humour and a twinkle in our eye, because that’s the Latics way. If I was to place a bet? What’s the odds on – overturn the points deduction – win all our games- go up through the playoffs!
Up the shithousing Tics!!
Thanks jt for linking this, it’s amazing how much has been donated from across the world.
We will beat this!!
Anyway Mr Brownbill, I trust you’ll have a lot of fun this week and fly the pie flag high.
At another club Cook would have have gone long ago.
But we’re not any other club. We are now reaping the benefits with our current form, and who knows where this will take us?
I’m a bit worried about this now, who going to pick the team and give the team talk? Paul Cook’ll be out on the lash now until October, pubs or no pubs
Congratulations to Liverpool tho but that’ll be us in a couple of years if our young uns get a gameI’ve got them all over the house, my fiancée is overjoyed with the sight of them!
Some have the artwork of horc and sonny’s page ( I did swops with Martin).
Derek who sells the badges on the bridge helped me complete my league collection, he’s one of the top programme gurus.
But I bet there’ll be some on here to beat him? When the pubs are open we can have a lot of swallays
Being a bit of a programme geek, I’m on this!
Unfortunately money talks louder than the dying. We’d still be restarting the season if the daily death toll was 500 or 5000.
I agree with a lot of what has been said but would like to add the way the workers have carried the country through. Not only the heroic front line NHS but also the grafters who don’t get the credit.
I’ve also enjoyed a lot of gin!
On non gin drinking days I’ve been grateful to have a job to go to and this has kept me going as its still gives me a buzz to do something useful and stimulating.
I’ve really missed Latics and struggling to work out what a weekend is for. However, I still feel football is coming back too soon and for the wrong reasons.
What I don’t like is is selfish barstools who only think of themselves, making a mess and taking no responsibility for what’s left behind.
But that’s enough about the government, and others.
One last thing, thank you to all involved with this site, and my WhatsApp groups for making me laugh.
Hello and yes I could log in. It wouldn’t let me post anything intelligent though.
Leaving yourself wide open there ;) ;)[/quote]
So long as there’s no booze detector I’ll be ok
