Two things.
1) When McLaren was mentioned on here as a possible replacement for RM way back the suggestion was ridiculed by loads !
2) Why was he a wally using a brolly in a fuckin deluge ? I would say he had some sense rather than get pissed wet through !I don’t know how you can be bothered pissing around trying to view it on a phone ! Digressing, I have an issue with the site on my laptop, it is really slow to load pages since it changed over ?
He was going anyway, he just feels shiiter he couldn’t keep us up before firing off.
At least Jewell had the decency to let the chairman and fans know his intentions before the Sheff Utd game, “go down I stop”.Thanks for the Fa Cup well done , now feck off your greebo.
What does greebo mean?
A ‘Greebo’ is someone with greasy hair like a biker !
Fickle or capricious if we are using big words !

Does Uncle Dave not know that any club after RM knows about the compo because he keeps mentioning it !
You change your Lightside/Darkside allegiance more than your football team! How are you going to stoke arguments up next season when we are all getting along?
So you call holding out a bit of hope of surviving due to a couple of decent performances as changing allegiance ! At the end of the day I knew deep down that what I was seeing on the football pitch was going to end in us going down. I doubt there are many on here who would ever consider me a ‘Lightsider’ ! Now if venting my spleen at more than enough terrible league performances and only 4 wins at home out of a possible 19 is considered being a ‘Darksider’ then that is what I am ! FA Cup aside because we are talking about what was to be a 3 or 4 year plan in the Prem, on the whole there have been far more downs than ups under RM ! We can easily counter the great wins against the big boys with the drubbings we got against the big boys but there has been far more dross in between than good in my view. We ended up down and to many that is no surprise and so the ‘plan’ failed and now he has gone and so we must move on and see what awaits us but if we get someone in who is going to take us on an 8 game losing run or a home win drought of 7 months or whatever it was then I will have further cause for complaint ! The nature of the beast !
Whether he is telling the truth or not, what Bickmon has said above is definitely true.
He got us in to this shitty mess so he should have had the bottle to try to get us out of it. Spineless git.
That said, we will have to move on, and hopefully we might see some attacking football next season instead of the boring backward and sideways mind numbingly dull dross we have seen for the majority of his tenure at Wigan Athletic. So he`s spineless because he`s left but you are glad he`s gone because he plays dross football.
So you wanted him to stay like he did when he turned Villa and Liverpool down and continue being fed what you considered dross football ?
What would you be sayin if he stayed ? The bloke can`t win with you
Contrary to popular belief he never got offered the job at Liverpool !
Probably not as I am led to believe he was very clear that he wanted full control over transfers at the club.
Does not mean he wasn’t first choice though ;)
Contrary to popular belief he was not first choice for the Liverpool job ! ;)
So fill was a Bayern fan before a Wigan fanHardly surprising
Yes he was ! I started watching Wigan 10 years ago when I had packed in playing myself ! Sorry for not being there at Springy Park or Goole ! I cant apologise for the other 12,000 relatively new fans mind ! ;)

You are obviously too new to the forum to know the history re my German loyalties !
Says the bloke who hadn`t even started supporting Wigan Athletic when this forum first went online
Take a bow
I thought I was having a conversation with Salford ! Mind you, going off your post trends I could still be having a conversation with him/you ! ;)
Come on boys and girls Bobby did is best to pull a good team together under financial constraints that no other premier league team had. OK he got us relegated but leaves us with a legacy that includes;
1) We have won a major trophy.
2) We have shown on many occasions that we can beat all the top four teams.
3) The good people of Wigan will support their football team if they play the right way, even though they are in a relegation fight.
Thanks for the memories bobby, if you do go to Everton though I hope you get relegated! B)
if you look at it on the whole we won 38 Prem games out of a possible 152 matches. So in theory I’ve watched us not win for 3 seasons…
that make sense ??.
You do know which team you support, don’t you? It’s not Bayern Munich, we are expected to lose more than we win.
I support Bayern Munich ! ;)
Quite. You certainly don’t support Wigan Athletic.
Well Wigan are my English team and seeing as I buy a season ticket every season ( Last 10 years ) I think that entitles me to be considered a supporter ! It’s been a multi trophy season for me ! :P
What entitles you to be considered a supporter of Bayern then?
Glory hunter what else
I shall rephrase and say that I am a fan of Bayern Munich and have been since I was about 9 !

if caldwell was injured all season instead of ramis
He was….!
Pulled out of Soctland squad to have a hip operation. Wonder why he only decided that today, the day Martinez returned to the club from his mini-break? Perhaps they have had a discussion and Bob advised him to have it done. If so, not the actions of a manager who is leaving…
What are they then ? :)
Looks like it had f*** all to do with Martinez, then :)
The Scottish fans will be rejoicing ! :cheer:
