Had Grigg taken either of his nailed on chances then it would have been daylight robbery at night! We were pretty poor last night and lucky to keep our unbeaten home record! The team for Saturday need to up their game considerably if we are to win this mouth watering derby! I say mouth watering because to me the North End games have always had more appeal to me as a derby than the Bolton games, probably because of where I come from!

Don’t knock the out of town Latics fans; cos you’ll find them more loyal that your average Wigan Mon ! I was born in wrightington, then exiled to Croston then Lostock Hall; but have always followed the Latics ! Even when I lived in Larne, I flew home on alternate weekends to follow the Latics ! That’s loyalty !

I’m from Leyland! I was just wondering why he took off a striker and played for 20 mins without a recognised striker! Bit negative in my book but hey I’m not the manager!
How about today’s tactics? From what I could gather, he took off Garner in the 68th min leaving us with no striker until the 88th min when out of pure desperation he brought Grigg ( Our best striker ) on ?
