We agreed that once 2-0 up Chelsea took their foot off the gas and pretty much cruised the remaining 83 or so minutes ! Their back line dealt with what we had to offer with consummate ease bar the Di Santo chance ( Bad first touch ) and the Gomez free header ( No comment ! ) It was heartening to see us going forward though and creating chances but we really do need someone who can bring all the effort to fruition ! Hopefully Ramis will improve and learn from his baptism of fire into the EPL but if the frailties we witnessed yesterday remain 5 games in then he must be dispensed with sharpish !
Good and fair assessment by the original poster bar the Figueroa comment ! I was disheartened to see Watson on the bench and even more disheartened when he came trotting on in a pair of fancy boots, the audacity !
