I actually think that David Silva is the best midfielder, not just at City but in the Prem!
How do you mean ‘Let him go’ ? I thought he still played for Utd!
Are all grounds not half empty during FA Cup ties? It’s only when clubs get to the quarter finals that the fans start coming out of the woodwork!
K, we get your drift!

To be fair Johnny, these 2 were quite good!
They didn’t actually play together as a pair that much though…….it was usually one or the other.
At Wembley, Mc Arthur played right wing back.[/quote]
Well McCarthur seemed to think that they were a good partnership and I seem to remember them being an integral part of our relegation avoiding team!

I find it quite odd that there is no mention of Ian’s passing on the official Wigan Athletic website? Both Chelsea and Ross County have paid tribute to Ian on their respective websites but nothing from Wigan! I hope he is going to be acknowledged this Saturday!
Not sure if you’ve seen it but something on the club website now filmoss.
“Latics will hold a minute’s applause ahead of Saturday’s match with Southend United ”

Yeah I’ve seen it. My Brother sent a rather angry email to the club, not sure if it was his actions that prompted some reaction but it did seem rather ( Ahem ) coincidental! ;)

To be fair Johnny, these 2 were quite good!
We are top of the ‘Bad Boys’ league though and so maybe some extra discipline does need to be instilled?

Well done apart from one putting John Otway’s song into action.Ian actually predicted our meteoric rise to the top flight back in 1979!
Ian made 41 appearances for Southend Utd between 1962 and 1964 and so this Saturday coming would be a perfect, fitting tribute!
You can’t polish a turd!
