It won’t help that Barrow is his right hand man either! They’ll both be potted by November!
He needs to grow some big sidies and get a pub!
Sounds like a bit of a damp squib! No feedback at all?
I also found it a strange decision to postpone last week’s game, could have had a field day against Northampton which would have worked wonders for confidence levels! Early days yet, I did say that we will know more about our promotion hopes after the next few games, we seemed to be getting a little ahead of ourselves !
I think we should have played anyway, keep momentum going and all that. It’s not as if Northampton had started brightly themselves or anything is it!
Don’t be daft.Does it really matter? Nothing game.
Not making a personal attack, mate, but you go on a downer even quicker than I do. And that’s saying something.
A few on here seem to look for things to moan and groan about. As long as we get a result when we play Rovers in the league, I’ll be happy enough.
The only downer I’m on is because I missed it and live next door to the ground!
Next two games will tell us more with regards to winning the league!
Signing for Preston tomorrow according to my mate ?
Knob End wind up merchant. If they are not full of wind, they are usually full of white. Surprised he didn’t tell you that we are signing Tom what’s his name !
Just thought it was a strange one as he ain’t exactly well known is he! If he had said Powell or Grigg then I would have definitely thought wind up straightaway !
I’m beginning to think Division 1 is our new level and can see us ping ponging between div 1 and the Championship.
That’s always been our level

To be fair Griff, I reckon we should be at least Championship level as we have spent a third of our football league history in the top 2 tiers, 13 seasons out of the last 15!
And therefore two-thirds out of the top 2 tiers.
Hence my parting shot of 13 out of last 15 seasons because we have moved forward as a club!
Nobody in their right mind truly believes that Wigan’s true position is where they spent those thirteen years. It’s no coincidence that as soon as the Whelan and TV money dried up we quickly went back to where we really belong.
Eight of those were in the top flight and I don’t for one minute think we are top flight material, never really did but we are Championship standard these days and if we go up this season it will prove it, watch this space !
No, we’re not. Every time we get in the Championship we fall straight back out of it as quickly as we possibly can. Even when we got into it from the top end!
Not sure where you think the money is coming from to finance a sustained crack at the Championship. It’ll be hard enough in this league
Bad decisions in my opinion saw us drop back into League One ( Both times!) This time will be different, you’ll see ! The squad we have as it stands ( Could change in next hour! ) is plenty good enough to go straight back up again.
You need to stay off your Bob’s gear… I see you’ve gone no less deluded in the time I’ve been way
So you don’t think our current squad is good enough to go back up? I think it is and I am sure there are plenty fans out there who share the same fervour! You’ve not crossed over to ‘The Dark Side’ have you! :)

Luke Burke too. P.C. must have another couple of owd codger drinking buddy defenders lined up or some loaner defenders.
At least no first teamers gone but these two were cover so you must be right. So with daniels & burke gone out on loan, who covers byrne should he get injured.
Byrne has already gone to Oldham on loan, I take it you mean Burn.
Morgan is injured, Dunkley suspended and young Stubbs has gone to Crewe, so we are as short at the back as we are up front.
There is a rumour going around that Alex Bruce may be coming back, but I’m not sure how true that is.
Just signed a one year deal ! :cheer:
Has your mate been on the ale all afternoon? Not that I’m aware! He’s a North End fan and text me asking what Dan Burn was like as they are supposed to be signing him tomorrow.
