Powell, Jacobs, Grigg (he hasn’t been fit/playing which is why everyone moans about the team every week) and we still don’t have a left back.
Form isn’t like a tap that you switch on and off and in the last 6 we haven’t had a settled side for one reason or another and you can clearly see a lack of confidence amongst the players. We concede a goal and the life just zaps out of them. Part of that is down to Cook yes as it is his job to keep morale up and he is far from perfect we know that but anybody else would struggle with the set of injuries we have had in a divison they are financial minnows in.
Thats true, just look at Nob End, an even bigger injury crisis than us and hands totally tied financially were expected to be pushing or in the play-offs but right down there with us.
It definitely takes its toll on us smaller clubs in this league.
Like us Nob End have had and have a load of players out with ham string injuries. Uncanny how many of these injuries there are these days. Training methods maybe or playing on decent pitches all the time, who knows??[/quote]North End put together that decent unbeaten run with an injury list as long as your arm as they say! They got a couple of their ‘Star Players’ back and the ship has become somewhat unsettled! “It’s a funny old game” as Greavsie used to say! ;)
