Where’s that fucking idiot gone who used to do that ‘Believe’ and greet the players thing? He took the kudos for us staying up in the 2011/12 season but seemed to fuck off after the hammer fell the following season!
If they get beat against QPR there will be some ramifications! :)
QPR 1 Everton 2
So Bobby lives to fight another day. And Everton are now only twelve points clear of the bottom three. In fact, they are in great danger of finishing in the top half of the table!
To be fair, Toffeeweb doesn’t host the brightest Everton fans. In fact, some of them show our own members in a good light.
Meanwhile, it’s a big week for the post-Roberto, post-Coyle, post-Rosler, post-Mackay Wigan;
Tuesday – Millwall v Wigan
Wednesday – Fulham v RotherhamCaldwell has seen a good variety of managerial styles recently. I wonder which manager he has learned most from.
Two seasons down, two to go, can he deliver? Me thinks not! ;)
Regardless of what division we are in, I would give Lee Nicholls the number 1 shirt. He only made that one through his hands mistake and he was never to be seen again? I thought he was a decent prospect!
There won’t be many of the current squad left!
I would be happy to lose my bet, I’m in a win win situation !
Let it go Al!! ha ha a
2-2 not a bad result in Garry’s first game in charge I noticed the moan at owt brigade were out in force at 1-0 down jeez where do they get off :lol:If you are happy drawing a game that needed to be won against a very poor side then fair enough!
a whopping £150 grand whats your problemWell if the club can afford to spunk £150 grand up the wall then fair enough!
Bench warmer again tonight and not a sniff! How much did we pay for this lad? Waste of money !
He’s been hauled off on 56 minutes, let’s hope that is the last we see of the useless get!
Frightening reading!!
That’s a fair observation Garswood, and to put the record straight (SW), for me, I wasn’t having a go or ‘bashing’ Black I was merely pointing out that the support role that these two have had over the previous years hasn’t worked and it was time to see a whole change in management personnel. There is a lot to be said about managers who, when appointed, want to bring in their own staff, as there is already an understanding of methodology, clear lines of communication, training etc and I don’t think that keeping these two on the pay roll has helped any of the previous 3 managers, whatever anyone thinks of their (managers) competencies. I think it was a decision based on finance (possibly to offset costs of the appointments) and, dare I say, misplaced loyalty. Whatever the reasons behind all of this over the years (which we will never know about for sure) it has been a factor in where we now find ourselves, in my opinion of course.
My comment wasn’t really aimed at anyone in particular, it just that Black’s name seems to have cropped up time and time again when people are criticising or questioning the abilities of the backroom staff.
As I said earlier, I can understand people having a pop at Barrow* but I can’t really see what Black’s done wrong. I think in this case however, both Black and Barrow’s influence should help Caldwell as he’s new and doesn’t have any assistants to bring in with him into the job.
I’m actually looking forward to see how Caldwell does. He’s played under some good managers who like to play football rather than hoofing it upfield aimlessly.
Jonny, your last line is quite ironic! ha ha ha ;)
Eh? You’ll have to expain as I haven’t a clue what you’re on about!
Caldwell used to regularly hoof the ball upfield usually straight into the West Stand!

With a name like Billy I some how reckon the lad wouldn’t exactly see himself as Oirish.
I’m guessing his family are quite fond of the colour orange.
…and with that tenuous link I suppose now is the time to start a rumour that my mates’ cleaners husband, who grooms the dog of dad of the ballboy who was walking past at the time says that the problems in the dressing room are down to McClean and Billy (don’t be a hero).
Well it’s more believable than some of the tripe that’s been posted recently.
;)
Please do elucidate on the ‘tripe’ comment!
Like I said, tenuous!
