No one is obliged to wear a poppy. If they don’t wear one they aren’t obliged to explain themselves.
By now we should know the reasons these guys don’t wear poppies, McClean has explained clearly enough times. No one has to respect what he say, but we should all understand it by now. It would be great if we could accept it by now. The abuse McClean says he gets is not acceptable.
Like it or not, accept it or not, respect it or not ….. I wear a poppy …. a white one. Please don’t abuse me for it.
I have no problem with you wearing a white poppy or indeed a red one. I’d hope you have no problem with me not wearing one or not having to explain myself for not wearing one.
I think this would be a fitting end to this discussion??
No problem at all; it is fine by me. Totally fine. I have a respect for you, it’s ok. Sincerely none of my comment was aimed at you. I agree with what you say.

I’ve heard he’s going to get Pemberton FC to the Prem in the next 11 years.
BTW – Whelans, thanks for my short but fantastic journey. I’ve had great times, got stacksa wonderful memories in my bag, met a load of lovely people and had some wonderful laughs. What more could I ask for??
My tennis coach, A Sheffield U fan said he thought that Wigan were one of the best teams to visit Hillsborough this season.
Pssst – I think you mean Bramall Lane ;)
1. At least someone reads my posts.
2. I wasn’t there (good job … I may have got lost).
3. He plays tennis
4. I’ve got no karma
5. Everyone including the team went to the wrong place. We played the wrong teamMy tennis coach, A Sheffield U fan said he thought that Wigan were one of the best teams to visit Hillsborough this season. He said that we threatened a lot, and not many teams go there and try to attack, as we did. He also said that the og was unfortunate, and their second just on half time gave them the impetus to change gear …… which it seems is what they did. Overall he thought we weren’t as bad as the scoreline suggests.
There is hope!!
The FA Cup Stadium.
This one is easy. So easy I nearly didn’t bother.

Nailed on, top of the table.
Cook out!!!Cook out??
More like sack ’em all. Every one of ’em. They’re all rubbish!! Bring back NOrma and Brenda.
12739 organiser again.Sorry Horc and Donny …….. I know for a fact they got that wrong. Recount is happening as we type
I’m happy with the usual team except it NEEDS to include Jacobs, Grigg, Mcmannamum, It’s just silly having them on the comfy pitch side seats.
Where has Byrne gone …. he’s due a ‘player of the season’ run out. Dunno who goes tho’.
That is one of the reasons I am with WAFC; it’s the fun, the craic, the banter and the laff out louds I get from my anonymous friends! Thanks everyone!!
We have had a total of 30 players so far, with LHL becoming the latest.
Exactly half of the players have at least got one point so far, but a few regulars have yet to score. We are keeping up a good average as you can see below, and I am hoping the WBA game might draw some old predictors out of the woodwork.
New players can still join in as there are at least 17 matches still to go.
Match 1. Sheffield Wednesday – 26 predictions
Match 2. Nottingham Forest – 23 predictions
Match 3. Rotherham United – 20 predictions
Match 4. Hull City – 21 predictions
Match 5. Bristol City – 22 predictions
Match 6, Swansea City – 22 predictionsThank you to everyone for their continued support.
I’m yet to score, well in this context at least. But this week it will all change; I never want to peak too soon. The game is on 20+10+2018 equals 2048 times the 4 sides of the stadium equals 8564 plus 3054 away fans equals 11,146.
10 points on the board NOW please. Why wait?
(Horc – match report to come soon, I’m just awaiting photos; well I’ve got the photos just not the card reader. That was left in Banska Bystrica).
10218.
Sorry folks, the only way I could get the correct number was to americanise the date.
(horc, match report Poprad fc v Bratislava, Slovakia league 2, to follow shortly from the ‘ambling reporter’ who was actually there).
I’d swap kipre with Reece James gg, he played well again.I’m sure you are right Jimmy, but Reece didn’t even feature in the 3.09 of ‘highlights’!!
Outstanding decisions made by Paul Cook tonight. Timings were fantastic and spot on. Bristol were a good attacking side and we easily matched them. We were on top but it was looking likely they would turn it up a gear when one after another midfielders were used to support the defence.
Brilliant and well orchestrated result by P.C.
Chuffed as a butty tonight.Chuffed as “a box of frogs”!!
