I have chucked money in a bucket to keep Stan McKewan

    Now who’s the Superfan?
I was carrying that fekin bucket! :woohoo:
I’ve seen you. You must have carried that, and a few more very heavy buckets, to get to look like that ;)
I carry a bucket most week days! :)
No further questions, case closed ;)

If Steven Gerrard is such a greedy get, why did he choose to stay at Liverpool instead of going to Chelsea for the big bucks?

Because he stayed at Liverpool for big bucks.
Smaller bucks, actually
As I said he stayed at Liverpool for big bucks, who said anything about it being less bucks, same bucks or more bucks than Chelsea offered.
Do I need to draw you a picture? Because he is accused if being greedy. Therefore, staying at Liverpool for less money than he was being offered elsewhere sort of disproves that theory.

Oh, and I can’t believe people are still falling for that old-wives gangster tale

Griff upset Sheff Wed ? – well I cant say that I am not surprised

How much did they settle for and did he pay

I think he offered them a copy of his book and they told him to fook off.
That hardly makes them unique.

Seriously though, George is right. Be careful who you slag off. No point them suing me, I haven’t got a pot to piss in

Give over you big girls blouse, the lad asked a simple question and The Egg is the only one who has managed a sensible reply.

Well, it was a pretty daft question. I think everyone thought it was rhetorical
Hmmmm! I didn’t, but I can see how it could have been seen that way by some. Anyway, I think we’ve got the gist of his position now. ;)
So, if I’ve gauged the feeling on this thread correctly, when I see him tomorrow night at football (Caldwell that is, not CupWinners) I’ll tell him that the consensus of opinion of this forum is that he should get his lazy arse back to training properly and earn his money, but on no account should he go anywhere near the first 18 on match days, right?

This board’s not been as lively for years. Was a love in with the same people making the same noises for too long.

Love-in? And you’re here to fix all that are you? That’s what all your recent drivel has been about? The saviour of Cockney Latic!! Hurrah!

No superfan Griff, no brown noser, don’t want to go to any forums or shake hands with the chief exec, although I did in Maribor (clang) just been around a bit, just pointing that out like.

What do you want for that? He’s hardly Roman Abramovich is he?
Loving the fact you are dissecting all my drivel into quotes and replying
Because I’m 100% thorough and professional – and right – in everything that I do. Something to which you should aspire.

Anyway, would love to stop and josh all day but these projects won’t manage themselves

I would have thought it patently clear that any new additions to the side will think to some degree that they can help us out of the mess we are in! I would like to think so!

Remember it’s Griff you’re talking to.

He has a stance, which is wrong and he’s wanting to stick to it and now sounding quite silly for a man who claims to want to ‘educate’.

Last word from Griff on the way.
Yeah, that’s right. Just ignore what I actually said about the lad possibly being bought for the future, even if that future is in League 1, because it’s a logical, sensible viewpoint but doesn’t fit into your broken-record, Malky-bashing world.

Last word? Here’s another one who doesn’t get what a forum is all about. You keep talking shite and I’ll keep having another word. I doubt very much it will be the last one.
Why bother posting ‘possibly’ you either believe something or you don’t. Possibly’s, maybe’s don’t waste my time, you sound like the Daily Mail.

If you think I’m talking shite I don’t have a problem you telling me that, at least you’re not saying I’m ‘possibly’ talking shite.
Because I don’t know the real reason behind us “possibly” buying this lad. You seem to know, though, and why wouldn’t you? After all, you shake hands with the chief executive.

Next time you do that, by the way, can you get his autograph for me? I’ll stick it in the front cover of my book with the Caldwell one, the Martinez one and the personally written foreword by Matt Jackson. No clang there, by the way – very small-time these people, hardly worth mentioning. Some would.

He’ll live or die by this transfer window, that’s for sure.

Now THAT, my friend, I agree with 100% ;)

Finally, common ground! Do you want to get married? You seem to be unhappy with your Maude from what youve said and I’m approaching the (second time around) seven-year itch phase with mine. It seems to be the next logical step.

Malky could be the best man. Who do you want as your maid of honour?

Not a bad earner that, training the kids while still drawing a hefty wedge

    Why is it an earner?

He’s either fulfilling part of the coaching role that come with his player/coach contract, or he’s doing it free of charge off his own back.
Key word “part” I would say he’s a player over coach so my question was , is he playing or what ?

Caldwell signed a one year contract with Wigan in July 2014. As part of the new agreement he was also given some coaching responsibilities.

    July 2015 get rid time,
To be honest, I’d be surprised if you knew the finer details of the precise arrangement between the club and Caldwell. After all, you seem to know nothing about anything else.
