Looked quite good. Maybe they could remove the big fat couch and put some extra racks in but hey, what do I know about retail management?

As they get older, the better ones turn into sweepers.

Brilliant bit of cheating. It’s 23 yrs and 5 months since the last hand of God so now we have 2. I wonder if our friends across the sea are having fridge magnets made of the 2009 mark 2 ‘hand of God’ incident.

I’m glad they’re out they are the Bolton Wanderers of international football.

Griff if your frog mates were here I ‘d buy them a drink.

I wasted no time in ruining my French mates but, to a man (and woman) they are all thoroughly ashamed and calling for the match to be replayed.

Then again, I tend to deal with the more intelligent elements of French society not the scrotey underclass 8-)

you cannot be serious. cattermole will go on to play for england, no doubt.
why do you call him brainless? best midfielder we have EVER had, and thats MY opinion.
i assume you are a wind up merchant.

I’ve much better things to do than wind people up on a message board – what sort of dullard would derive any pleasure from doing that all day long?

I said brainless because of the way he throws himself into some situations and tackles, thereby getting himself booked, sent-off and unavailable.

Thug? Some of the situations and tackles mentioned above. I saw him mindlessly chase and hack at some poor lad from St Mirren in a meaningless pre-season friendly. Perhaps that was one reason why Bobby was quite happy to let him go.

That said, I never said he was a bad player, just that I preferred Diame. As for him playing for England in the future, he may well do – so what? That doesn’t make him better than Diame, does it? Just more English.

Wouldn’t say a brainless thug ,then again the West Ham game

Just my personal opinion, never had much time for him personally.

Don’t think we have seen the best of Diame yet but already, I would have him before that brainless thug Cattermole.

Spawny French gets will nick it – hope not though*

    * nothing to do with politics – I just have too many ex-french colleagues waiting to have the p*** ripped out of them

… and could have made it 1-1 at Maine Road in the FA Cup with a great header that Corrigan brilliantly saved. “Happy Days” :)

See, I was there that day but I can’t remember a thing. Perhaps because I was only 6 at the time :?

My only slight concern is that the Galleries is a bit dead in parts; a bit like downtown Beirut.

S’pose it depends on the exact location, but a very positive step.

Also like the name, though Latics WiN1 might have been better :)

Can sympathise Martin – I took my 5-year old to the St Mirren friendly and at 3.07 he was asking if it was time to go. In the end, he stuck it out until half-time.

However, this still doesn’t answer the question why the match is being played on a Sunday.
