I agree totally, been watching wafc for over 20 years now, and always hoped that we could get in the top league, but what is the point,

And we’ve been it for the last five and we’ll be in it again next year!!

in reply to: for all you martinez & whelan supporters #6769
So this is the anti- whelen martinez thread then ?

I suspect there’ll be a few more

in reply to: I want a reply mr.whelan #6764

“mr whelan is not shy when he spouts his ego ridden opinions in as many media forums as seems humanly possible”

You write that and seriously expect a considered reply?

think we will just edge this game 2-1. scotland coming of the bench to score and mccarthy to nick one. taylor fletcher for them.

Taylor-Fletcher? Surely that would make it 2-2. :?

……………….fight

Settled by PMs at dawn.

Not that there was anything to settle

My point was the FENCES, or are people too thick to see that?

Your second point was, your first one wasn’t.

Or are YOU too thick to see that? :D

My mate’s just sent me a text, apparently we are being linked with a South African striker, who plays for Orlando Pirates, or something?

Think he said his name is Silheh Laize Kaffir, or something like that. I believe they call him Laize Kaffir, and drop his first name.

Anybody know anything about us signing a Kaffir?

I hope you didn’t spend too long making that up.

So, you’ve stereotyped and offended both Liverpool fans and now blacks. Anyone else you want to have a pop at?

in reply to: Trouble at West Ham #6668

Bad Policing- They panicked, opened the gate that caused the rush.
Fans Arriving Late
Bad Organisation- Why did Liverpool fans (the bigger support) not get the opposite end, which was one of the biggest terraces in Europe?
The Fenced In Paddock- Fences due to hooligans in the early 70’s.

So, you started this debate that you don’t want to have by saying Hillsborough was the fault of hooligans.

But miraculously, it has now disappeared from your list of reasons for Hillsborough
No, read the bottom line about the ‘fenced in paddock’, and what it says behind that.

Don’t be so quick to jump in, Griff, mate. :D
Tenuous, “mate”, at best.

I think everyone reading your original comment about “planks like that causing Hillsborough” would have inferred that you were saying that for hooligan West Ham fans last night read hooligan Liverpool fans at Hillsborough. Not that you were blaming some unnamed, generic hooligans from 20 years previous.

“But for planks like that, Hillsborough would NOT have happened”

Oh good, somebody NOT blaming the South Yorkshire police for a change

in reply to: Blackpool anyone going? #6317
yeah was gonna do that but need to feed baby before I leave. He is on ‘organic milk’ iykwim.

You lot just wait i am so angry mad as owt! you will regret it when he says enough is enough and walks away we will be skint and thats not good. We could end up like Leigh rmi if we didnt have the fantastic backing of Mr Whelan.

He pays the bills and even the Police bill he sorted and held his head high in doing so, so stop it now if he read these articles he would surely leave i think they should be removed as to not offend Mr Whelan.

It is also time that it should be arise Sir Dave Whelan for his services to Wigan, he employs probably most of us Wigan folk.

Aw bless, are YOU Mr Whelan’s grandson. :?

Ps. And Im obsessed?!?!

Yet on YOUR forum your that OBSESSED to use WRLFC as one of the subsitute words for bad language     Bunch of Jokers!!

Part of the reason your in your position as well is all the rubish and cr@p youve thrown at WRLFC youve managed to alienate yourselves from over half of the town…..not just wigan rl fans but general wiganers who even though they dont support wigan rl, hold the club dear!!! Its tragic really for you all and thats the reason you can only get 12k home support for your biggest game of the year even with JCLs…..more than half the town wouldnt p155 on you if you were on fire because of the rubbish bile small minded rubbish youve thrown towards the Rugby team!!

Its the height of irony!

I’ve just spent 10 minutes trying to decipher that and I’d like to give you something. Here you go:-

use it wisely.

In his sequal autobigraphy, he also reveals he once played brass with Stevie Wonder…

I have actually heard Whelan play brass – trombone – at very close quarters. He was shoite, as Louis Walsh might say.
