At first i thought that`s right you sod off and leave the sinking ship then you realize hes 78 and running a football club most of us won`t see 70 that says it all cheers DW can i clean your pool in Barbados.

One big thing for me , the way we finished formation wise, hes got to learn Cowie Watson and McCann can`t play in the same team one of them only and i think hes seen that now. McClean on his own up front hes tried it now, hes a good header of the ball but only on the wing hes been up against the centre backs its not worked so move on. Defence , whats happened to Caldwell hes got to be better than what we`ve got on show at the moment ,Next up i think we`ll see 4-4-2 then onwards and upwards just as we finished the game today.
We`ve a few games before that enough to turn it around, I liked when the draw was made their was no reference to us being last seasons semifinalist or 2013 winners just Scum v Wigan Athletic a lancashire derby .
Terrible today but at the end of the day he can only play with what hes inherited, he obviously likes a holding striker and we only have Fortune who can do that role (Holt to return i think) hes tried a different back line but that didn`t work, Watson we all love for what hes done for the club but hes just not good enough, When he took Fortune off i didn`t have a problem with that as McClean is a good header of the ball and can sheild the ball, lets be positive (some how) ,hes been in the job 2 weeks and at least hes trying different options i think we`ll see a settled team soon i just hope its not to late .

Great article, I`m in the Whelan camp he has been treated very harshly and only said what we all know as for Mackay his was a private txt between 2 people how can they punish him !! (even though they will) what about the privacy laws .As for Tan i just wish he slipped up (un like our Dave) and accused us Wigan fans of being racist then we could put him through the ringer.
