Try something different because this boring shit will never work with the team you have assembled. Charlie Nicholas absolutely ripped your system to bits on Sky today and who can argue.
Lets face it Hindley,he never has a good word to say about us.
Sorry but he was spot on we will never score goals with one up front, our build up play is to slow, we are terrible at the back. Argue with any of that, bet you can’t???
We know we are poor and your right this system will not see us scoring but every time i listen to Charlie Nicholas talk about us its always in a derogatary way no matter what ala Gobney Marsh.
Your right he is not the most complimentary but he called it spot on for the reasons I’ve already stated.
Absolute shit, Everton were their for the taking and we never looked like beating them even our goal was a fluke.
It wasn’t the best performance Hindley, but had Moses passed the ball either way, we’d have been two-nil up and would probably have won the game.
On a positive note, I thought Caldwell had a good game today.
I agree Standish I thought may be Caldwell was MOM but if’s and but’s come on if Moses had passed we would have missed the chance anyway.

Plenty of other teams score with one up front – so yes, it can be done. And, as far as I’m aware, we were playing 3-5-2.
3-5-2 who exactly were the 2???
I’d drive me boot up that fella’s arse in respect to his incredible petulance. He goes down when there’s a slight wind and loses good positions for the team by not passing.Reminds me of a player they had last year who’s doing nowt at Villa.
Not in the same class as Charlie.Did you not go back end of last season when he almost single handedly kept us up???

The reason we didn’t win is cos victor didn’t look up and square it to Albert. How many times has he done this – ruddy frustrating.Victor is the most over rated player at the club his decision making is crap he couldn’t hit a barn door and his final pass

It will be a sad day when we do eventually go down this season, I just hope we don’t end up dropping like a brick.
Can’t be arsed going through each fixture, but whatever we get it won’t be enough.Once again we agree Griff, this run of results we would need to stay up is just not going to happen.
where do i start, lets say …….erm erm erm erm the whole team apart from halabsi i wouldnt pay any of them with washers :(
Just a thought Ace,maybe the players would have been more effective had they played in a different system. This is not a dig at Bobby but how do we know how they may have performed had we played a more direct game. Are we perhaps being a bit harsh just slagging the lads off when just maybe they simply found the system difficult to adapt to.Im sure that one day Bobby will realise that his way may not be the best way and hopefully change. He may someday be a better manager for it.Some of the players here came with big reputations so why aint they doing it?.Its fruitless just calling them bad players we need to find out the reason they are playing poorly and rectify it no?
No i dont think we are been a bit harsh on them, these players are on thousands of pounds a week, yes we are going to get relegated and i have accepted that but to be relegated with out putting up a fight i wont accept.Dosent matter how poor your players are it dosent take skill to put up a fight and show passion and commitment
Very true Ace but Bob does not want them to play an up and at em style, he wants them to pass the ball to death. Remember under Paul Jewell and Steve Bruce we were never technically the best but we were in teams faces for 90 mins. Our work rate was unbelievable and teams hated playing us because we didn’t give them a minute and more often than not got a result.
My arguement with Bob is that nearly every team we play is going to have technically better players than us. So if most teams are better than us how playing Bob’s total football are we expected to win matches???
That’s the first time I ever seen somebody stuttering in writing. :lol:Damn I phone, I was sat on Morrisons car park in Bury and it wasn’t playing or so I thought.
Sorry chaps
i think the towel was thrown in when heskey and palacios where sold
if we had kept those and further strengthened the team it might have been a differant situation now
with crowds well over the 20k
instead the team was ripped apart and weakened every season after destroying what growing support we had and started the decline we now see
the final act will be the sale of the stadium to the warriors that is a certIf anybody’s gonna be thrown out of the stadium it will be the chubsters mate. They better hope that the new Latics chairman when he or she arrives, has the same affinity for the lodgers as DW, or they’ll be off to orrell.
By the way, the only people to have thrown the towel in, is the fickle Martinez out brigade on here.
So Bob and his team were fighting for their lives against Spurs first half??? jr don’t talk shite there’s no fight in this team at all and here lies the problem.
