I honestly believe we won the FA Cup despite Roberto, not because of him.
May I suggest that that is the biggest piece of shite that has been posted on here for many a year.
FFS. Even if it’s through gritted teeth give the bloke some credit.
When we lose or get relegated, it’s because of the players Martinez has signed. When we win the FA cup with those players he has singed, the players get the credit not Martinez.
No wonder you’re leaving Roberto!
Unless Bob reads CL he’s had a very easy ride off the fans when you consider his results. He would have been sacked at any other club :woohoo:
much of it was dull, boring mistake ridden dross far worse than anything seen under bruce
Who made the mistakes? It wasn’t Martinez, it was the players! Martinez didn’t send them out to play mistake ridden dross. Bruce did instruct them to play his way.
Yes, if Martinez had bought better players and paid higher wages, he might have achieved better results. And last season, a bigger squad would have been useful too.
Some fans, I think, have been waiting to attack Martinez. The FA Cup run got in their way, but now they are seizing their opportunity. It’s a shame they can’t show just a little gratitude – or even say nothing at all.
The players played to Bob’s instructions and that included passing out of defence and how many times did we concede soft goals??? If your going to praise Bob for his style of play you also need to admit at times it was our undoing.
Owen Coyle or Steve McLaren Nooooooooooo
I’d rather Whelan did the job himself :woohoo:
Can’t help but somehow feel the same. The conspiracy theorist in me suspects this whole “he cant take us forward” comment is to save face for whelan and the fact he won’t pay for facilities. It isn’t the best thing to say before applying for an Everton job, I cant promote a club from the championship but I can push an Everton team up the table???Perhaps it’s just me.
It’s not just you, I bet all the new training facilities and academy would have been based on us being a Premier League club.
Unbelievable comments above from the torch many of the older fans would never of dreamed we would of got into Europe after the dodgy nineties ere stay on for the ride Torch you may never see it again .Wembley three times in one year European nights at the DW cant waitWell said that man I’m just gutted I will miss it :(
For a man who is supposed to love the club if that article has any truth in it what so ever he wants shooting
I got Wigan 10 promotions on fifa 12 and 13 and won the 1st division. Let me tell you, that is hard to do, yes I did drop Caldwell as he struggled at the back, but Albert plays well on the wing.
If uncle Daves looking at this I will do it for £1000 a week!!!!!
Bargain!!!!!Will Bob come in for Gomez?????
Hope so and Caldwell can go to as they’re both shite.
I blame Roberto Martinez..Anyway, I just posted this on Facebook:-
Well, that’s a guaranteed few days of Thatcher baiting and jokes coming up.
Whatever you thought of her, she was one of the most important and influential political figures the world has ever seen.
RIP
goodpost goodpost goodpost
I think that echoes your sentiment, Jason
Rugby Leagues is a joke end of, played in only 2 counties and never ever to be compared to football. More people watch England in King Street than turn up for that egg chasing shite goodpost
IMO a must win game, it doesn’t get much easier in the Premier League than Norwich at home. COME ON YOU BLUES goodpost
No easy games in the Prem old boy
Your right thirty, but as I said not much easier in the Prem. COME ON YOU MIGHTY TICS goodpost
I wont be going I’m afraid but I hope the Mighty Tics do us all proud and beat the Cockney Scum.

One word I’d use for Millwall fans, scum.
Gets my goat up this all these fans now out of the woodwork for a bit of glory where were you all at our away games this season and home for that matter were you ate Bournemouth no thought not well at least I will a true fan at wembley like some of our faithful followers and not the jscll
Ah yes, but where were you when we were shit?
I can almost guarantee you weren’t at The Hawthorns in ’93 when we got beat 5-1 in our relegation season. There were 50 Latics fans there, if that.
I was goodpost
That link mentions nothing of wine and steak or helicopters and holidays, and so shouldn’t be used as a reliable source, I bet whelans got more in coins down the back of his sofa than he’s spent on quality goalscorers in the last few years.
Don’t talk rubbish.
Whelan is a man of the people. He’s building that club near Wigan Tech for youngsters.
All the Premier League money was spent on ping pong tables, drinks cartons and smoking shelters.
Sorry Standish but Whelan is not building a club near Wigan Tech for youngsters. He has made a donation of pocket change to the project but most of the money is coming from other sources. He is doing what he is best at minimum outlay maximum exposure, sound familiar
