Why will we get better with more games????? This is apart from Charlie is the same squad as last year.
Well, it’s not though, is it? Dave Jones is new to the first team squad.
And in any case, most teams improve the more they play together and this one played better as last season wore on (you said yourself in an earlier rant today that we were only “gash” for 3/4 of the season) so it stands to reason that there’s a good chance that this improvement will continue.

I didn’t think on the balance of play we deserved to win, just my opinion.
I can’t West Brom selling him to us and even if they would he wont come cheap. He is a 30 year old wanting 40k a week, not a Whelan signing if you ask me.

Agree totally Zogs left peg, as long as the fans who turn up make some noise and get behind the team I couldnt care less! I had a phase were attendances bothered me but that has passed. Really interested to hear why some fans don’t go? After last seasons escapse and the football we started to play I find it strange how more people have not snapped up season tickets.
For people in Wigan who claim to be a fan of football and do not watch their local team irritates me though.Have you got a ST with Stu?
Did you go last season???? for 3 quarters of it we were gash and then we stopped up thanks in no small part to Charlie. Then we sell Charlie and sign Al Habsi and a free transfer from Wolves. Then you wonder why people don’t go!!!!!!
I agree. We will get better with more games and would have won but for a fumble by Ali. At times we played well when we had the ball, we wasted lots of chances were on another day we would have scored 3.
Optimism for the season ahead is still high. We need to by a replacement for Charlie on the right hand side and with Hugo back down the middle we will be even better. With Alcaraz to come back into the team I think we will have a good season.Why will we get better with more games????? This is apart from Charlie is the same squad as last year.

We have sold our best player for 9.5 mill and spent 4 mill on a keeper. Oh and a free transfer from Wolves, forgive me for not getting to excited.Lets hope we can bring another winger in before the season starts or else we could end up having Gomez playing against Norwich!Each season we escape by the skin of our teeth and each year we weaken our team. We have sold our best player and replaced him with a no mark free transfer from Wolves :doh: :doh: :doh:
