Apologies
I hadn’t seen that as it was posted when I was away on holiday. But as you say what Whelan says and what he does are sometimes two different things.
The six weeks has well passed.
Another query cleared up by the CL.
True but I think you’ll find there were a few more than 1200 on when we played Plymouth.I don’t recall us having a League attendance below 1200 since we got in the FL.
I do however recollect Cup game against Bury that attracted a gate of around 890
Not sure about the atuo windscreen washers trophy, but that doesn;t count anyway.Looks well Stoke are building their team with quality and were spending copper on trash. Look out Derby, we are about to kick you out of the record breakers book. :(_________________
The Mighty Bobbyswigan
Giving us all Nightmares Since 2009At the time he was one of our better centre forwards. We cetainley had worse.
I used to have a lot of time for DW, but recently I have started to lose patience.
My main gripe is of course his love of the men that play with odd shaped balls.
Some of his actions and words recently regarding them are unforgivable.
If he would dump them and put his all into the Latics, I could deal with all the crap, but all the rubbish he spouts really gets on my t*ts.
Just shut the fu*k up Mr Whelan and concentrate on WAFC.People on here call vat (dave from skem alledgly) but i think Bobbyswigan is the one with a breakdownI reckon he is truelatics4ever or newpremboys.
Come on tell us which one were you on the old CL.I don’t think he is one of Arkys reincarnations as he isn’t clever enough.
The loudest band I ever went to see were the Clash, my ears were ringing for three days.
Joe Strummer, what a loss to the music industry.WAFC as i see your chherman is selling all of you players ,you weel go down this season ,as you are sheet, you club is dying fast, weelan making lots of mooney then he goes    …i am noow watching munchester city
If you marriede another man, and his name was berty ashit then your name would be Aswad Mustaph Ashit  [/quote]
How about the Indian karaoke champion: Gerupta Singh
Although i disagree with all of the ‘get Whelan/Bobby out’ brigade…
I did find this quite funny…
The badge says “Club DW” but i thought some of the chairman haters would like the writing across the shirt too!!
Sorry… it’s Friday and i’m bored at work!! i’ll get my coat..
I wonder what the quality of the material is like.
To be totally honest, apart from Bramble none of them look great. We are now having more players leaving, we are playing a lad who has publically said he wants to go (Scharner) in defence and our forward line is seriously lightweight, apart from Rodallega we have nobody you could call a striker.
God, has anyone geet some prozac for this mon.
Could they afford him?
sounds like a description of gomez as well but brown did a least upset the oppositionI reckon Gomez has more chance of improving and going on to punish the opposition rather than upset them.
Marlon King better than Jason Scotland? Well that settles it, bring back Mark Hilditch. ;)Read it again, I said he was better at Blackpool.
If you think he wasn’t then maybe you are serious and you would want Marco van Hilditch back.
King was poor, but Scotland was abysmal.Apart from Rodallega who looks to be doing well, nobody can tell me this guy isnt better than the other so called strikers we have. I wish he was back if only for his industry, reproducing his goal scoring form would be amazing. Looks like Portsmouth have seen enough to take a risk.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2 … outh-agentHe had enough opportunities to reproduce his goalscoring form, but decided to chuck himself on the floor all the time instead.
After the way he perfomed and the wat he treated the club, I think there is little chance.
A striker must be high on the managers list, after watching Scotland at Blackpool, we may have a problem.
Incidently, I thought Marlon King was better than Scotland at Blackpool.Cant keep hold of any players, being made an embarresment of (the Martinez unveiling was a cracker) signing players nobody else wants, losing 4-1 to Blackpools reserves and attendances dropping like a stone.
Whelan has brought back some wonderful memories, the newest the memory of when we were relegated getting 1200 fans and selling every decent player we had. The tight fisted excuse will have us rattling bookets outside the ground next to pay for the clubs travel expenses. :xYou’re a real ray of sunsine you Bobby. Have you ever a positive word to say about The Latics
