Wrong, the quality of the artists was very high and the mood of the admittedly ‘mature’ audience lifted them even further. Gest was very funny with his introductions and as a raconteur and it was easily the 2nd best concert (Original Live Aid was the first)I’ve been to in my life.

I would urge anybody who likes Soul to go to this event which is now on a UK tour.

What the f*ck are you on about?

Your not a stupid man Hugh. However I will elucidate for you. The artistes you mentioned are plying their trade these days in pantomimes ( hence my gag ! ) or Butlins holiday camps ! In other words they have slipped somewhat down the ratings to shall we say E List status ! As the guy off The League Of Gentlemen said ” Its a sh*t business ” ![/quote]

I’m sure that if Jack Warner was ‘handled’ in the right way and his great concern over England’s bid was ‘recognised’ in an appropriate manner he would once again offer his backing to the FA.

I agree but wish we were more direct and play 442 against teams like Hull, Burnley Wolves etc. Zoggie and Sinclair should be on the wings with 2 centre forwards instead of a lone one. We don’t need 5 in the middle against the lesser teams in this division.

Yes im dissapointed with the result, but the fact is bobs team is now starting to take shape.Yesterday we controlled the game for long periods of the game with some neat football and good 1touch passing, our downfall was some pish poor crossing into the box, at times no urgency. brown did his homework and roughed up scharner which resulted in him going off injured and that no hoper gomez coming on, in my eyes sinclair would have to start to had some pace and flair with rodders

Agree it is the most depressing thing about supporting Latics.

I think the plain truth is many Wiganers are just either tight fisted, spiteful, lethargic or would sooner spend all their time and money on ale. I’ve never known such a bunch of unenthusiastic wankers. We are no better than the chubsters who I used to laugh at watching them ‘int Swan and Railway on a frahday neet ‘ when they were at home less than a mile away.

Something we have to come to terms with Wiganers are basically knob heads.Nobody in the rest of the country can understand why people in this town don’t care.

If it weren’t for him we be in the same shoes as Chester City.

    Filthy old man escapes again.

Wiganers have always been and always will be tight fisted and mean spirited. ” Ad sooner watch it int pub me cos tha can av 10 pahnts fert cost of a match ticket”.

We are no better than the set of scum who watch the worriers.

50% of the population aged 16-65 are either unemployed or on invalidity, so we are a town of scrounging cunts as well.

Gobshite of the year award – My nomination.

I bet 24 hrs ago you were hailing him.

That was one of the worst latics performances i have ever seen. The Norwich manager has been sacked after 2 matches, that tonight was dire! if we play like that he will be gone by christmas trust me!
