Oh if Roberto actually reads I will give some tips..
Keep going as we are, I am very happy with our progress and think you are the man for the job…
Can you drop Beausejour for me please??
Oh and I have heard Falcao may be looking to move.. Lodge a bid in? ;)
So to summarise.. Happy about everything, we will survive, but Beausejour is garbage B)
That experiment didn’t work too well, but I suppose it relies on them advertising at the time of typing, so maybe I should of thought about products or services that were actually open or operating at this time of year…..OK how about a beautiful Caribbean Cruise, all inclusive of course and preferably at 98% off or discount.
Cruise, Holiday, Summer Holiday, All Inclusive B)
..Oh and ‘Mature Dating (Wonder if that one works ;) )
Bob would say there are a lot of positives to be taken from the comments :)If Bob posted once, then he got bombarded by posts from the fans.. Then do we win on posession ;)
Only joking.. In Bob we trust!
Keep The Faith! B)
I just thought to myself I am pretty hungry. Now there is a Chicken Burger floating on the left
Truely amazing.
Hello Capt. Spaulding how are things??
And everybody loves a McChicken Sandwich! B)
Wonder what happens if you mention Alton Towers Theme Park Stafford and Drayton Manor with Thomas World?…You get ‘Quickquid loans’ .. Thats what I’ve got now anyway!!..
Them places MUST be expensive… B)
Haha you 2 are at it all the way through this thread too!! ‘Ohhh I agree with you friendddd’ ;)
And Yes Jimmy I did ask for peoples views.. And to be honest as a back up I don’t see why we shouldn’t have a go.. if wages are reasonable.
Again ‘James’, is stating that you agree with someone’s views really a problem?
I refer you to the ‘Draw’ thread..
I didn’t say it was a problem.. Just a bit strange..
As I said on aforementioned thread, off here now for the weekend so see you all on Monday with 3 points!! B)
You two best mates or something?? You just seem to follow each others posts, and then post yourself after it and quote it saying ‘Oh, I totally Agree’ .. ‘Oh yes I agree with all of that’..
If I agree with someone’s post, I’ll say I agree with it. Likewise if I don’t agree with it, I’ll argue against it.
Not really a problem is it?
No.. Did I say it was a problem??.. Did anybody say it was a problem??.. No, just commenting that it’s funny how you 2 do it to each other so often (Ooo err) ;)
If you 2 just want to stalk each others post and praise each other for it.. Be my guest ;)
Im off here until at least Monday anyway..
Sooo.. See you guys after a big win at the weekend!! B)
You did ask for peoples views.
The guy did have big prospects but seems to be made of weaker material than Kirky. It is a position that needs strengthening, but i think we might be ok with young Nicholls as cover?Totally agree with you.
Personally I don’t think it’s an area that needs strengthening. We’d struggle to get in a 2nd choice keep anywhere near as good as Al Habsi, and Nicholls has been getting rave reviews whenever he’s going out on loan.
Play the first team in the replay, spank them and then play the same team at Macclesfield. We have a strong chance here to reach the 5th round and if the draw is kind who knows what can happen. Look at Portsmouth the other year. Didn’t play a single side ranked above them.
Winning becomes a habit (as does losing) which is why I don’t get why we use the tired excuse. I’ve never heard a player in a winning team say he’s tired. Were our players tired in 2002/03 when they played 46 league games and still played in the cup against WBA, City, Fulham and Blackburn? No they weren’t.
The team selection against Bournemouth had just two regular first teamers in it (figs & boyce) with three bench players (stam, Gomez & jones). Very similar to the Bradford team selection.
Look at the first two Capitol Cup games against Forrest & West Ham we had more first teamers in them. That blend of first choice players & fringe players seemed to work as i’d say they are better teams than Bradford and Bournemouth. If you’re trying to bring players on that don’t get a lot of first team action then surely you have to do it in a way that does not dent confidence. Didn’t go to the Bournemouth game at home but got the second half on the radio and i’m sure i heard booing at the full time whistle. That won’t do the players confidence any good, so let’s hope we have 2 or 3 more first teamers in the starting eleven for the replay in order to beat this lot.
We can then play that club in the next round that are a similar size to us?
Yep. Agree with all of that. The booing at full time is a disgrace and does nobody any good.
There has been quite a bit of talk on here about Al-Habsi.. Whether he is good enough etc and whether we need a back up GK to push him..
Would anybody take Craig Gordon?? .. Not the worst Keeper from what I remember.. Sure he had quite a big price tag at one point…
Anyway.. He is a free agent at the moment.. May be worth a punt depending on wages..
What are your views? B)
Wouldn’t go anywhere near him.
As injury prone at Kirland and wouldn’t play for peanuts.
Incidentally who is questioning Al Habsi’s ability? He’s a very good Premier League keeper, and a couple of mistakes doesn’t suddently mean he’s become a bad one.
Totally agree SW, Gordon had a bad time at Sunderland and Ali is by far a better keeper in my books
I wasn’t implying he should be brought in to replace Ali.. I was thinking as back up considering he is a Free Agent.
I also didn’t say that we SHOULD even get him.. Was only asking peoples thoughts, wouldn’t even have thought about the guy if I hadn’t seen he was a Free Agent B)

Not myself but there have been a few discussions questioning his ability.. He isn’t the best Keeper but he will do for now B)
As a change from the usual bickering and bad vibes, where are you going to for your holidays? We like to try somewhere different each year and so this year finds us opting for Antalya Turkey.I will also be jetting out to Austin Texas for a week with my brother and some mates for a week of psychedelic music and high jinx !
Any thoughts or tips on Antalya would be gratefully received ! B)Antalya looks nice but doesn’t it bother you that there is no Beach etc?? Wouldn’t bother me but I know some people just love to spend more or less all day there :)
Last year I went to Tunisia (Royal Kenz Hotel in Port El Kantoui) which was really nice (Providing you stay within your resort and tourist areas) Hotel was quality, to be honest all Hotels there look really nice .. This year I am wanting to go to Egypt or somewhere else that I have not yet been.. But with moving properties and what not I may just opt for a week all inclusive in Malta B)
We aint beach people to be honest but there is one there ! We went to Tunisia a couple of years ago and that was a decent holiday where funnily enough we did use the beach a lot due to it being part of the hotel !
Oh I went to Marmaris and was speaking to a Turkish guy from Antalya and he was telling us that it doesn’t!
Yeah our Hotel also had its own stretch of beach which also had an All Inclusive beach bar and food place so we had no issues spending the day there either!
Was also very good for price of everything more or less! We went for a meal in Sousse in a ‘Texas themed’ place.. Got the biggest Steak I have ever seen, plenty drinks and what not and it was cheaper than you could imagine! Only issue we had was when we left our resort to find some more local bars/clubs (After All Inclusive hotel bar closed) and it just looked deserted, we found one very nice looking Bar and decided to get a drink or 2.. We were the only English people in sight and I dont think the people there appreciated us being there, also we got one drink each and it came to more than the Meal we had including drinks etc in total!! :ohmy:As a change from the usual bickering and bad vibes, where are you going to for your holidays? Win at Fulham without doubt. Easily.
Winning at Bournemouth would also be great too though, can see them both being won with ease to be honest :)

I toyed with that, but the last time I suggested that Ali perhaps might not be the actual best keeper on the planet, I was rounded on by the window-licking, hard of thinking section of the membership.
How dare you Griffamundo!! :woohoo:
Who do you think you are with your ‘opinions’??
