I know young man, I’m just being a c unt tonight. ;)
‘Spelled’ is also correct in the sentence too.. Being a bit awkward myself ;)
Spelt!!!!!don’t you mean spelled?
Nothing worse than making a c unt of yourself when trying to make a c unt of someone else eh.

‘Spelt’ is actually fine to be used there, John. Well done
Sorry to post this link on here, I just feel every single Wigan Athletic supporter should read this. :ugeek:http://www.mudhutter.co.uk/news.php?extend.126
Focus on the last paragraph –
“Don’t let these buggers get you down and don’t let modern football get you down, my dear, fellow Wigan Athletic fans. We may not be large in number but we’re ten times the human beings they are….”
Decent article IMO. Bit overboard with the 2nd world war bit though.
You are making yourself look more and more the pilluk you are day by day. If you are a true Latics fan then I’m a staunch rugby fan.
There’s having an opinion and slating for slating sake.
Just change the fekin record FFS!! :roll:so just tell me what you and the rest of the martinez supporters club are doing ‘defending for defendings sake’
we are fast approaching the halfway point of the season,
in the bottom three where we have spent most of the season, the lowest scorers in the league, create very few chances, concede more goals than we ever have done, have a manager who will not change his formation despite it clearly not working, every reporter who writes or commentates on us say we are poor and for the drop, every opposition fan we play thinks we are the worst team they have played.now that is not my opinion it is FACT.
can someone a little more positive than i am tell me in which area we are “making progress”
You can’t state them as facts! How can you say that EVERY opposition fan thinks were the worst team they have played. In fact I will go the other way and say that statement is DEFINITELY false!
we’ll end up buying Jason Scotland anyway :roll:No Septhon.. We won’t.
but then alot of us now age is catching up lol
I think that has more to do with it than most people will let on.
I think you are right there Griff to some extent.
I think us oldies can see the Premier League hype for what its worth, were the young’uns have not known anything different.
Everything was better in the old days, football, beer, worklife, TV etc…….but was it?????
We need the views of some under 25’s really to see what they think.
For what it’s worth I’m with the fed up brigade, with this media run hyped up shoite we’re watching these days.
I obviously still love my club, and want them to win every game they play, but am I enjoying it? Not that much to be honest.
I am an under 25 and here is my view…
I think I enjoyed it a lot more on the rise up. I used to love going to springfield park with my dad and a flask of Bovril :) .. Used to love going watching us playing in the old div. 2 and enjoyed the Championship too. Some of the people who are ‘fed up’ have good points, such as the fact that we dont really have anything to aim for except avoiding relegation and they might find it boring, but as for myself.. I still enjoy watching the lads and still go into all games with confidence. I am not fed up and would definitely NOT want us to get relegated as we went to watch them cimbing up the leagues to be here, so to say they want us to go back down is stupid IMO.but then alot of us now age is catching up lol
I think that has more to do with it than most people will let on.
Made that point in my last post Griff. Think it’s happened to my old man too :)
I read somewhere further down that a member had lost his appitite for the game, this made me think and hes right,im the same,im not that bothered anymore and thats against everything ive been brought up with.
My dad used to take me to wigan rovers when i was in the pram,my grandad was chairman,we went all over watching football combination football, winter green was in my blood,i cant remember the games,i can remember that smell,it was a football smell, from that point on i was football mad,ive since played for some decent teams inc wigan rovers in the west lancs when it was still a good league, garswood in the mid cheshire and north west counties, finishing up back in the wigan ammi league, ending up coaching kids football. Its fair to say im a football man.
These last 5 seasons tho, apart from the 1st season and some pick out games since then, have picked away at my love of the game, before then away days on arkys and the train with successful results kept me football mad.
Even the social sides gone, pre prem all the lads were out for an away game, a home game was usually a day sesh ending in pemps, its virtually all gone, a home game is match and home more often than not, away games are just a day on the lash travelling upto newcastle no tkt just watching in a geordie pub, no ones interested in the game anymore.
Its not that i dont want the lads to win i do,ive just lost interest in paying over inflated costs sat in an obscure section of a ground being told how to watch the game by men in yellow coats…im not even going to start on the refs.
So has the enjoyment gone,is it down to prem football thats drained football fans like me.You make a much more valid point than the others. Are you sure it isn’t just you getting older that makes you not want to go out on the lash and that makes you want to go straight home??… If this is the case for many fans then something needs to happen to bring the love of the game back to the fans, it shouldn’t resort to certain people (Vat) wanting us to get relegated!
Why is an offer from Marseille something you ‘Do not refuse’ ? .. Especially coming from a player who I believe is good enough for the likes of Arsenal and Utd.
I agree tyldesley.. Hugo’s was a red card every day of the week! But I have seen 2 footed lunges like that not given reds against us. Still, cannot complain about it.
I have 2 tickets for Professor green… They cost quite a bit :D and he is awesome :D
Did he not kill some other professor with a lead pipe in the conservatory ! ;)
He used the knife.. Good guess though ;)
I can understand people saying that they dont enjoy the Premiership, its not the be all and end all, its not competitive over a season for clubs like ours. I just wonder what those fans reactions would be if we werent near the top of the Championship around this time of the year, if and when we go down, regardless of style of play, manager etc.Would those same fans who would almost welcome relegation, want us to be winning more games to get us in contention for promotion to the league they dont enjoy?
Very good point Abram.. Don’t say if and when we go down.. We are NOT going down!!
You support a team because you want them to do well.. Surely? .. Not wanting them to do badly and get relegated!
They were both Red Cards.. No arguments. Nani should have been booked in the first half and made fouls after it!! ..
I agree Desperados is nice :) The stuff about wanting us to go down is idiotic.
Sorry James C but if this mon continues with his 1 upfront policy were going down!.Its not working Bobby for f@ck sake get someone upfront with Hugo.
No you got me wrong this time, I didn’t say we wont go down, (I don’t think we will, but this is a different matter) I was saying that him wanting us to go down is stupid!
