Good posts these lads.
i think joyce is doing best he can with what he has trying to limit the damage untill january
then he can bring in his own players be it loan from manureHe isn’t doing his best with what he has though is he, our top scorer on the bench every week for no reason, and i can’t get my head around this “limit the damage” malarkey!
Ok quite simple goal differance will be a key factor come end of season by trying to deffend best we can untill he gets chance to bring in his own players to play the way he wants
By not giving many goals away wil give us a better chance later to stay up simple really
Exactly mate. Great post. Nice one.
Just like the camera never lies, the stats don’t either! Some of the attempts ( I use that word very loosely! ) on goal that I have seen have been laughable for professional footballers. Jacobs is the worst offender for poor shooting! That’s a good point. Fair play. Congrats mate.
I’m not sure what he is trying to prove with this baffling tactic? Got away with it at Huddersfield when we were fortuitous ( Two stonewall penalties! ) but to adopt the same tactics at home and then again today despite no home joy is baffling?Good one mate.
Thanks mate.
They are a huge drain on time, and very few people saw it through til the end of the season.I am open to ideas if there is enough interest I may put one on for the second half of the season and/or next season.
Ok mate.
Just on example of Caldwells diabolical Summer transfer window.
100% certain if we had the below we’d have more points than we have now
Jussi
Wabara Pearce Morgan Warnock
Perkins Power
Mcann
Jacobs Grigg YanikProbably would have more points, but McCann leaving was nothing to do with Caldwell. We simply couldn’t afford his salary demands.
I don’t know why everyone is saying we should never have let Wabara go. He was a decent League 1 player as far as I could see – no more than that.
I’m only guessing but there’s no way McCann’s wage demands were much more than what were paying Powell and Gomez and I know which id rather have.
No idea what they’re on now, but in 2013 McCann was on £550,000. So I’m guessing he’s on a lot more now in MLS.
Last season Nick Powell was on £260,000. I doubt we offered him much more than this.
I bet Gomez is on similar to what McCann was on, but he’s only on a one year contract.

The fact of the matter is, McCann didn’t want what was offered to him – be it not enough money, not a long enough contract or whatever.
It was hardly Caldwell’s fault he left and was more down to the club’s finances.
Ohhhhhhh great one that mate.

Is the lad going to be fit enough? Very much doubt he can be without training with a professional club since May, unless he has been training with a club.
If not it’s going to take a good few weeks to get him to a Championship level of fitness. He has had trials elsewhere I believe, whether they were intense/long lasting/frequent I have no idea.
Be decent to get back with current right back situation. And good one mate, ok.
What is it with the:
