Enjoyed my second day at Wembley watching Latics, having won the Freight Rover a couple of years earlier.
Good day out.

A few of u are quiet gormless to be honest. We didn’t play bad at all except for Scharner awful game. Anyway the only thing lacking in that game was creativity and the will to take a chance and gamble. I don’t agree with the booing. Not suprised they didn’t win being booed and screamed at for a mis judgment. But for all those who will defend urslef saying i didn’t boo and were whale, i dnt care. we aint world class.
I say support you team who alot of you claim to love so dearly instead of complaining. If you dnt like it support another team.
Didnt play bad ???????????????????????????????????????????

Aye, I had to read that a few times. As one of those who has consistently backed Martinez (not necessarily the players, mind) I find it hard to defend either the selections and tactics last night and then the execution of them by the players.Didn’t play bad? No we didn’t play bad. It was truly woeful.
I must admit, you did looked bemused last night, I thought it was because you’d seen me in the West Stand and thought you gone in the wrong end. :P

What you trying to say jayt :shock:He’s just lurking…

Lurking – I reckon he is waiting for us to be safe and then he will share/bask in our sea of positivity, joy and slating the moaners off.
On the flip side he could be waiting for the relegation to be confirmed before he comes on saying he was right and backing the ones that told us all along that we were doomed.

There should be more of them at football matches, and you could use it to fill the stadium by doing a ‘ladies night’ type of offer, whereby scantily dressed young fillies get in for free. No, I’m not getting it much at home at the moment.
Maybe they should do it like at the races where a known band would play a couple of numbers after the game finishes – maybe Coldplay, Spandau Ballet, Kaiser Cheifs, The Jam, Duran Duran or Dave from Skem?

Not to put any more angst into it but, he scored the 4th goal at Preston pre-season (a long time ago I know).
So it would be his 4th goal for us if he scored on Wenesday.

The felling whilst having it done is probably like having a really hard scratch in one area for a minute at a time.
Healing is best described having mild sunburn.

There search facilities on the message boards and on the main site.
If you go onto the home page and type what you are looking for, you will be able to trawl through the Cockney Latic archives, which are growing bigger by the week.

There is a HUGE difference between kissing Bobby’s 4ss and just getting behind the team and manager, whatever players are put on the pitch.
You say over rated manger!
Nobody has over rated him, most accept him for what he is, a very young manager who is just starting out in his managerial career. Yes he still has a lot to learn, yes he is having a very rough time of (a bit of it because of people like you) and yes it sometimes looks a bit grim.
But if chairmen hadn’t trusted that their inexperienced managers would eventually come through, how would any manager get started?
How would Shankly, Fergusen, Moyes et al had gone on after their relatively bad starts. Nothing is going to be done with regards to staff at the club right now, so why don’t you rise above what ever is niggling away at you and get behind the team and the manager.

Good positive slant yet again….
Don’t you bore yourself with all this Martinez is rubbish this, team selections are garabage that…
How about:
Portsmouth players will be playing for their Premier League futures i.e. putting themselves firmly in the shop window. This will possibly add loads of pressure to them and give us an opportunity to get a valuable win.
Roberto should stick with the team that has performed quite well lately, without getting the right results. Although Scotland has scored and he has said that Gomez has been doing well in training, I hope that he doesn’t revert back to earlier in the season where he started them both without much success.
But I suppose at the end of the day the manager wants exactly what the fans want, if not more, and I will get right behind him and any decsions he makes.
Wich version sounds better???

I had a fiver on Flintoff to win at 66/1. Surprisingly he didn’t win, or finish in the top 3. In fact I don’t know where he finished. Would have loved it if he’d won though. It still hasn’t finished, I think it fell about 7 or 8 out…

If youu have a current shirt they will sign them, what they don’t want is 2,000 people to turn up with loads of items for the players to be signed.
They have said shirts are no problem but as there will be a lot of peoploe down there to get theirs signed, there will be no other items signed as it would not be fair on everybody.
In short if you turn up with a current shirt, i.e. the Vandanel one, it will be signed with pleasure.
