With regards to his comments, they can be taken either way, as a parting shot or as a ‘get behind me’ to the new owners (caveat: if there is any). How you read it is your issue.

What route are you taking? Maybe an idea to contact other fans forums to let them know what you’re doing. I.E. Chorley, Rovers, Nobbers, Fylde, Blackpool and Fleetwood. Let them know if they see you on route to give you a cheer or donation. Just a thought. Maybe you already have done.
Keep up the admirable and fantastic work for the cause and promoting the positive face of football. You are all a credit to WAFC.

Setting off at around 7.30am from Training Facility. Looking like weather is going to be kind to us too….. I’ll be wearing walking boots, rather than trainers….

I suspect some have been put on one side for those that are doing the walk there. And probably a few others as well.The walkers have been told they will need to sort their own tickets.

A bigger response already than from the posts after the Oldham win.Says a lot doesn’t it?
It looked like two penalty decisions decided the direction of the game from where I was stood ( Fratton Park). Both of which the ref got wrong.
Onwards and upwards though, can’t get too hung up on the referee as I haven’t seen a good one all season.

Can you put a word in that they sort out children’s season ticket prices.
I know I went on at the time, but it’s still unfair that we (and lots of others) paid £69 in the East Stand, while in the South it was free.All i can say is there will be a new pricing structure which only has 4 bands no matter which stand you’re in. I’ll find out if am able to share what those bands are, but I think you can guess.

Why if you phone the club up to buy a match ticket in advance & don’t have them posted out do we get charged the same amount as someone who pays on the day? Kind of defeats the point of the club trying to get people to purchase in advance so that they know how many pies to buy in, programmes to print, coppers to pay for etc..Not everyone will always have access to a printer to be able to use the online print at home option. Even the woman I spoke to on the phone admitted it didn’t make any sense
I have put the question in there and will get back to you when they reply.
I do know that season tickets and match tickets are getting an overhaul next season, maybe this is part of that… along with losing the national rate number.

Here are some answers:
The take over is still at talking stage, can’t say any more
Regarding the relying situation, things will be looked at and systems will be put in to hopefully rectify. If you have an issue that you feel isn’t being dealt with properly, that is where the SLO comes in. email jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk, I will get an answer at east, maybe even an action.
The queuing situation will be relayed to the Caterers to see if anything can be done in the close season.
The new season ticket prices will be restructured so there is only 4 tiers, different ticketing solutions for those unable to commit to a season ticket will be looked at.
The music and half time entertainment is constantly being reviewed.
Wifi is too expensive at the moment plus it would be ring fenced (where certain websites and the 4G network are blocked ), but is being monitored for the future.
Can’t give too much info, but an announcement will be made pretty soon regarding the kits.
Scoreboards and TV screens are wanted items, but they need to be funded, so as soon a deal can be struck we will get them.

A good read from a certain Mr Andrew Vaughan…..As a pivotal person in making this very fanzine what it is (was), he still has a great mind for writing. Pity he doesn’t do a lot more and a shame he (and others) are not involved on here anymore.
