Tannoy did announce ‘with 2,300 visiting supporters’, great effort by everybody.
I wonder if we would do it more often should the tickets be £14 and £18.
I can feel the pain of LOTP and mutty who were probably wetting themselves in anticipation of being able to come on here and have a go….. sorry guys.

I can point you in the right direction. Cockney Latic has every league game (and quite a lot of non-league) stats in the archive….
Past games against every team we have played
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
Charlie Morgan, the 17 year old son of multimillionaire Swansea FC director Martin Morgan, 50, the 32nd richest person in Wales, smothered the ball as Hazard attempted to retrieve it with 10 minutes left in the Capital Once Cup semi-final second leg against Swansea.
The lifestyle of the 17-year-old has come under scrutiny since his high-profile intervention.
In Twitter posts the teenager, who attends a college in Swansea and turns 18 in August, boasted about drinking Veuve Clicquot champagne and going on holiday to Las Vegas and Dubai, as well as posting images of his expensive Audi A1 car and torn-up betting slips.
His father and mother Louisa, 45, who count Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as friends, own 22.5 per cent of the Premier League club.
It is believed the Chelsea stars stayed at the family’s Morgans Hotel in Swansea.
Ben Watkins, 18, a former school friend of Charlie’s, said: “He must be the richest ball boy in football.
“He’s mad about Swansea City – what he did was a bit foolish especially after be boasted he was going to time waste. I guess he’s been a bit spoiled because his dad’s got pots of money.”
That’s how to keep a low profile

FACT—
Only non-Wigan Athletic supporters actually give a flying about crowds. Have you not realised that yet.
Apart from 35 yrs WAFC or whatever his name is – see post above mine. Oh, and Rodders/SDW. He likes to talk about crowds when it suits.
An easy one would be the 13,000 that was on against Wigan (with 2,000 Latics) in the late 80’s – this was in a ground that had boasted a 75,000 record crowd. I don’t need a calculator to work out that %.And the capacity of the ground in the late 80s had been cut to around 20,000. I was there too that day sat in the old clock stand amongst the 13,974 (almost 70% full) to see a 4-1 win for my tin pot adopted club in their one and only season in the 3rd tier. I was also on the mudbank for the infamous sliding competition for the return game when 4,000 Sunderland fans packed into Springfield Park.
Have a good Sunday![/quote]
My last comment:
According to your tin pot club’s own history, the capacity was only reduced in the mid nineties, mainly due to the Hilsborough tragedy the ground was just missing a few tens of thousands of ‘true supporters’ in the 80’s…. I too was there, with my two Geordie cousins and the ground was almost deserted – except the away end.I won’t waste my time going trawling through the records to stuff you crowd issue well and truly up where the sun doesn’t shine, I really have no time for wannabe horrible mackems.

Thought Pollitt was crocked? From what I’ve heard, I think those that went to Bournemouth will be the ones that saw Pollitt’s last competitive game.
I really hope he gets offered the a coaching role as he will have a lot to offer there and his presence for morale will be invaluable.

Like I said on the loads of the thousands of threads on this subject, if I trawl through WRLFC and in your case SAFC, I will find plenty of examples of similar or worse crowds.
LOTP has already been batted away, please don’t make me waste my life by dragging FACTS up from your tin pot adopted club’s archive. If you can’t find anything other than crowds to slate our incredible club, then we must be doing a lot right.

I am guessing that Pollitt is injured as he was subbed at Bournemouth at half time…

Opening times for the ticket office will be 9-5 as usual tomorrow, but you won’t be getting tickets to go to Macclesfield Town unless you get them this morning I feel…

Go on sale at 9.00a.m., to season ticket holders.
I reckon they will be gone before the day is out, certainly none left by the time we play Sunderland on Saturday….
