He doesn’t have to Bath, half the team are out of contract at the end of this season

PS, Gary Caldwell was stood next to us on the terraces with his sons (& brother I think). Did anybody else see him.

He was a few steps down from us – so I presume you were too

Must have been, but as i don’t think i know you wouldn’t recognise you (might know the face from Springfield park days?). Too many bob hats, hoods en scarfs to recognise anybody that day really.

We certainly don’t do things the easy way do we…
Glad we are through, but it doesn’t matter who we play we just can’t create chances. I can count on one hand how many attempts on goal we had today… Sh !te considering Macc are a non league side!!

Norwich went out to Luton today who are also a non league side. Go on the canaries board and see what they are saying.

The display today was shall we say “adequate”, the pluses being young Jordan Mustoe, whose first half display was outstanding , Golobart again apart from a few hiccups looked assured and was actually marshalling the defence quite well. I’ll reserve my judgement on Robles till after I’ve seen him in a few EPL games, but is kicking and general distribution was very good. The signing of a new contract by Macmanaman as certainly geed him up as he put in a decent shift on the left wing and skinned Jackson on numerous occasions and he is supposed to be one of their key players.

The negatives were once again Stam, the lad just cant defend and it hurts me to say it but Gomez, the lad just didn’t seem interested in the second half and gave the ball away at least 10 or 12 times.

Having said all that look, this is only the second time wave reached the 5th round of the FA cup in our history, so I think its time to celebrate not find faults in our display.

For those who had a pint in the Railway, £2.10 for a pint of bitter and £1.00 for a pie, fekin magic!

Don’t forget to watch the draw tomoz gang, cos we are in it and a lot of clubs arn’t. goodpost
Not really interested in what Norwich are saying. Do you really think that performance was “adequate”?

As for individual performances agree with what you say above but there is only one player who performed for the 90mins. Figueroa impressed a lot, stood out from the rest for me.
As for pubs, heard some Wigan fans saying the booze in the Station was rubbish? We also went in the Lion and no complaints.

Didn’t have myself down as in either camp really, love the WAFC but will criticize when I feel the need.

what strenghts mate seen him a few times and i cant see any maybe you see a different game eh mayte you going tomorrow with the clan and big hitters

he hangs on the shoulder of the CB’s and points to where he wants the ball playing. Problem is he never got the service just like the other strikers we have don’t.

Yep, went today cos i aint been to Macc before. Who are the clan & big hitters you refer to?

Do you like the idea of a wembley semi final or do you think it should be left for the final and it should be played at villa park..

Myself i dont like wembley semis i understand it needs paying for but kind of takes the magic out the final

And its a hypothetical questikn before the darkside inform me that as long as bobbys here i dont need worry

Bit of a traditionalist myself so yep, the final should be the only match played at Wembley for me too.
But then again, i woluldn’t decline a day out at a non traditional place for a semi if the chance arose.. :pinch:

We need all the fire power we can get.

                  Why keep Boselli then..?

                  Garbage.

Get rid and get someone else in who can actually do a job.

And I really hope nobody’s gonna reply with the old “he hasn’t been given a real chance yet” rubbish.
When is it ever as simple as getting rid of one striker and suddenly pulling in some fantastic goalscorer out of thin air?

I think Boselli has had more than enough chances to prove himself although in the half season he played when he came here and then some of the chances he has been given this season the service has been sh*t to non existent.
Salford, boselli in my opinion hasnt been give a proper chance at all,he his shouldering a lot of the blame for the dross that is around him. When he 1st came he made 8 league apparances and some of them where as subs.
Now then compare the apparances of boselli from him coming to the present day with that of the apperances of Dik santo and the goals he has scored…………..how much of a chance has he had and hes no better
goodpost goodpost goodpost You watch, we’ll let him go and he’ll start banging them for his new team. We have not played to his strengths

Can’t believe it’s putting so much snow down on the eve of this match. Looks like Macc are doing all they can to make sure this match goes ahead.. Hope the roads are cleared, for us not going on the train that is

That is a big a problem as our leaky defence Salford. You’ve only got to look at our attempts on goal per game, it’s far too low. Unless we improve the service then my guess would be it doesn’t matter who we get in, they won’t score many.

What? If only I supported Bradford? ;)

No – the particular set of circumstances that saw Bradford through wouldn’t have slotted in to place if we had won. It’s just life.

Quite right, our defence is not as good as Bradfords..

Loved it at the weekend when sledging on Parbold Hill.. But the novelty has definitely worn off now.

Roll on the summer, or should i say the rainy season..

Who gets up your nose the worst on here? Give us your most disliked poster despite the fact that you probably have never met them in your life and you don’t really know them! I am aware that I may be included in some choices but I will just say now that I will take no offence whatsoever and I suggest that any of you who are named don’t either!

For me it has to be thty5yearswafc for sheer persistence in trying to beat me down on here. To be fair things have improved lately and I have no doubt that if we ever actually met things would be cool but for now he gets my vote!

Not a gambling man but I’ll bet there are not too many names put forward to this thread filmoss :silly:

Had a quick look on the Macc web site this morning and it does sound promising for this match to go ahead as planned.

                              Let’s hope so

Surely not possible to lose a defender over something so trivial? anyhow we aint got enough at the moment as it is.

Didn’t notice Boyce playing bad on Saturday? Be interesting to know what exactly set Ramis off (if this is true)
