Yawn; it’s predictably about who has the most money !
Ruined forever.
There was more excitement listening to Chorley Vs Spennymoor Town in the play off final of the Northern League Final. It probably meant more (emotionally) to the players of Chorley, than the City players could ever imagine (whilst they check their win bonus on the coach back up North.

Football is in a state of no repair

Money definitely plays a major role now LH. Was a bit more exciting than last year though when City ran away with it.
For me the cheating in the game is equally as bad. Seems to be accepted now that the slightest bit of contact warrants a player acting like he’s been shot. Hardly watch motd now.
While you are both right about the money in the game City Liverpool and Spurs have proved that its also about being managed well. As I said before Utd have spent the same as City over the same period and are shite. Fulham spent well over 100 million and were relegated. Spurs on the other hand have spent less than us in the last few windows and made the top four and Champions league final. This season more than most has proved that spending wildly alone doesn’t bring guaranteed success. Liverpool and City have been phenomenal because they have outstanding coaches. The best thing about the season though was the unmasking of Mourinho and the end of the myth about him being special. And of course the horror of Utd fans having to watch City and Liverpool being so brilliant knowing that one of them was going to be champions. I’ve enjoyed the greed league for once.
That’s true NL, three top managers and all in the English prem.

I’d agree with that donny, Jack Grealish wouldn’t look out of place in that Brentford side.

Sure I can remember Cameron telling the British people this would be a binding in/out vote.

Cameron’s / Conservatives manifesto on the lead up to the 2015 election pledged to hold a referendum on EU membership if the Conservatives won the next general election, which they did by a majority. (could this have been the first brexit vote?)

In his Chatham House speech about the referendum, Mr Cameron said to the British people, “this will be your decision” – “Not politicians”, “not parliament”, “not lobby groups”….. Oh, & there will be no second referendum!

For the last three years we’ve seen all of the afore mentioned trying their best to go against the public vote.

Cameron & Osborne told the public In the immediate aftermath of a vote to leave in 2016 the UK would fall into recession & 600k people would be made redundant etc etc etc.. ?

It’s difficult to believe a word any main stream politicians says.

Inconsiderate from the players to say the least. Last home game, Brentford fans expenses not considered….. Hope none of them get another club next season.

Had 2 / 3 good chances in first half but squandered them… We well deserved the point.
Nice to see youngsters given a go. No pots broken, but hopefully we see more next season.

Seems all our young teams are doing really well. Could be some crackers come through the ranks in next year or so.

Powell is so overrated, he does not impact a game anywhere near as much as other players we have. His bad points stand out more for me, injuries & turns up when he feels like, which isn’t often enough.
I won’t be sorry to see him go.
