Sheffield UTD pitch today looked great, but ours looked sh ite before the rugby played on it. So maybe we should be questioning the groundsman?

Why would he come back to a club where the supporters constantly booed him? Not so sure I would, and I think his best days are behind him anyway.

That would be his only reason for him not coming back & i wouldnt blame him. But he is a quality player & we could get a good season or 2 from him.
To be fair he scored a cracker for Rovers today. His best season for us was in the Championship IMO so maybe that is his level.

A pretty decent following already, if we can stretch to 2k then that would be a good following.

Let’s hope we can make right what happened at our place in the reverse fixture.

And with a total of five home games for both teams before end of Feb it’ll be like a mud bath by end if month…. Hardly surprising with amount of rain we’ve had over the last few months!

Fair to say we have conducted ourselves pretty well of late, impressed. Let’s hope we do go up, still a good chance of automatic if GC keeps up the positive stuff.

I’d like him back, stood out in midfield when he played. Bit of a footballing brain as well , a rare commodity this day and age.

Good luck Grant, possibly a striker that came with one of the best goal scoring pedigrees ever but never given a chance whatsoever by an assortment of managers who persisted in playing the lone striker.
He will get a club, if he isn’t totally pissed off with football after his time here and will score goals given a fair crack at the whip, service and a strike partner.
All the best Grant and sorry you had the misfortune of Coyle, Rosler and McKay.

Good luck, he’ll need more than that Donny. Norwich fan laughed at me when we signed him, said we can have him cos he’s sh…

How could anybody be pissed off with football after steeling 30+ k a week??? Good riddance, just wonder how much it cost us getting rid of him cos I can’t see anybody paying him 3k a week, if anybody does take him that us.

Perkins played well, Daniels & Pearce would run him close for MOM for me.
Thought Wabara had a good first half, under used in the second half though.

Gutted about not picking up 3 points, but good game none the less..

Had Gary been on the piss keeping Will out of the side?

Didn’t Grigg miss last weeks game through injury? Maybe GC was being cautious with him.

By the way grumpy some of our fans where a disgrace today fighting with each other at half time

I thought I heard some lads say that today but wasn’t sure. Never heard or seen that before, must have been the booze.. A few drunk today?

Sat back when we scored and paid the price. But unlucky when we decided to go for it again. Always hard games when they are fighting relegation

Err, what game were you watching then ?
Their goal came from a Wigan corner ( so we must have been attacking to get that far ) when all but Jassi was in the Crewe half ! Maybe, we should have sat back and killed it off to half time !
And Donny, Crewe actually played some good football and were very fast on attack; not as shyte as you may think. Let’s hope they upset a few other teams, during their bid to escape relegation.
It’s funny how we all see a game differently, I thought the same as you Lostock, credit to Crewe, they played well today not like a relegation side anyway, defensively good. Their right back marked Yanic well (can’t remember his number)

As you say their goal came from our corner, and I was bothered about our formation at times prior to that because we had three at the back and then everybody else up front with nothing in the middle, or sometimes just Perkins. Too eager to get forward I thought and it cost us.

Gutted about the points, but can’t really blame anybody. GC started with a good attacking team I thought and first half all’s we were guilty of was not putting the ball in the back of the net.
