Job done, well done GC for playing young Kellett in that roaming position [ hole??] He took to it like a duck to water and should really have scored with that one on one in the second half.
Can’t wait to see his goal on football league show, the build up and finish looked top notch from where I was sat 100 yards away. :cheer:
Saw them on Sky sports news early JR and our first was very good. Good build up, good lay off from Jacobs and great finish. From the bits i’ve seen of him I quite like the look of Kellett.
Second was more a Barnsley comedy store than anything else, but Yanic put it away well.
is there a link with goals anywhere.
Youtube link below neon (if you’ve not already seen)
I’d love to see this lad given a run in the first team as I thought he was a decent keeper. Obviously we don’t see him in training everyday but seems a waste to me to bring kids through but never give them a decent opportunity.
Grigg will get us goals if he’s given the service. He fed on scraps against Barnsley but put the two chances he got away very comfortably.
Ps, you got back quick!

Second was more a Barnsley comedy store than anything else, but Yanic put it away well.We need to do what we should have done in the JPT game and take Adam Hammill out the game. Mark him out the game and they have nothing. His name came up a lot on one of their forums, few reckon he’ll score. Let’s hope we do mark him out the game and get three points.
Didn’t go today but caught bits on Wish, sounded a frustrating game.
GC keeps saying teams change their tac tics when they play us, well it’s about time he started to change his, and discover a plan ‘B’. To keep rolling it out from the back and passing it around the back isn’t working.
We’ve now lost to two teams in the bottom four “at home”, if that isn’t telling GC something then i don’t know what will!To be honest i’m not expecting much Donny. But first time to Fleetwood so am looking forward to it.
Correct JR, perfect Christmas break that’s local enough :)
Let’s hope we go home happy? It’s actually 19. They did us in Lancashire cup in 90s and when JJB stadium was opened.
If you’re going to count that then it’s 20.
We played a United team (including Beckham, Scholes, Neville) at Springy in the Lancashire Cup.
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/ultimatewigan/Beckham.htm
We then also played them in a friendly for the JJB opening in 2000.
Two separate occasions.
Never forget walking into the local after that UTD match. One of the old blokes asked me who played, anybody we know.. I said no, load of flippin kids out
Lets hope so. A Sheff Utd fan at work was glad to see the back of Clough. One up front home and away, boring footy which got him the sack in the end.
That is NOT a prediction by the way!Very true Egg, but we should beat these men no worries. Even though we are in a bit of a sticky patch.
There we go
Think i’ll give predicting up Egg…. Kiss of death, just like my footy coupons
We have a girl from Romania who works in our place and says Wigan Athletic are very famous, honestly.. :)
Used to have a girl from South Africa who’s brother (still over there) had his own little WAFC supporters “sky TV club” going on over there.
That may have changed over the past two or three years though :pinch:Come on Tez, because the Jewell / Bruce way is unfashionable now, don’t you know!
And you should be on stage with that one Donny..
Shame Alex Revell isn’t French.
