Apart from Fortune missing an open goal with a yedder as did Bong with an one on one and an penelty not given up and till Waghorn got sent off they had ad one shot on goal the old saying goals wins games has shown its hand again
Very true, and pretty much sums up our season.
Now, I’m off to watch a film called groundhog day!!Its better listening to G.C Than hearing Whelan spouting his mouth off. Were are you Mr Whelan,I cant hear you. :cheer:That’s a matter of opinion, and it’s best if Whelan doesn’t say anything after recent events.
Cheap appointment that won’t save us & definitely will not get us promoted next season.
A play on words if you will but if we don’t change Fortuné then we simply will not have a change of fortune! He is really good at falling over and being caught offside and that is about it for the big useless heap of shite!
Let’s hope that he makes me eat my words by netting a couple and bagging us 3 pts but somehow I doubt it!You missed out, missing sitters… other than that, spot on.
I would love to see Latics stay up but if it was due to the fact that Rotherham United were to be relegated after being deducted points I would be gutted for all Millers fans.
After a terrible time at their club, losing Millmor and having points deducted not once but three times, 10,10 and 17 points over three seasons it must be a worrying time and a potentially gutting time to be a Miller. The club survived due to the fans and fought back from being a tenant in Sheffield to move to the fantastic New York Stadium and two promotions. Oh how I wish it was one of the bigger fashionable clubs rather than a smaller provincial club like Rotherham.
But at the end of the day our safety depends on what our lads can do on the field over these next four matches so if we do pip The Millers let us hope it is by four points but I would take a goal difference ,one, two or three point survival gap.I certainly wouldn’t be gutted if we stayed up by default..
Not surprised, the only change he made for his first game was the keeper?? He’s not a convincing speaker either, doesn’t fill me with much enthusiasm when I hear him..
I’ve not seen many posts about people going to Fulham, anybody committed themselves to going?
Club have extended the booking deadline because of demand. Or is that because nobody is?Fook me we’d have no players left to pick from…:)
I’d like to see that Sinclair lad on the pitch before we send him back. He’s got pace and knows where the back of the net is, I can see why Malkay didn’t play him….
I will back the manager and the team,i just think the bad timein by sacking malky.shud have been with ten games left.also cant get round how Barrow sneaks away from the chopp. got be whelans eyes and ears.Wasn’t Barrow Whelans first sacking? he didn’t rate him then so what has changed.
Malky was under the threat of the sack at the Reading away game. A win saved him. So maybe Sharpy has had plan B drafted up for a few weeks. Watch the interview and feel encouraged, could turn out to be a refreshing change that we need.
So who would you have appointed Mr Galactic ? When you take your head out of the clouds, come up with a sensible choice with trademark success and no baggage. Mmmm, not easy is it[/quote]
In our predicament it would be difficult to attract a decent manager, but Redfearn or Warburton would have been my choice. Both have little experience but seem to be doing a good job.
I tried to be positive about the Coyle & Mackay appointments, but they both proved bad ones. This latest one has all the trademarks of both the afore mentioned!
I’d take them up on this offer but would need to know one thing first. Who will play up front! If it’s fortune and Clarke then I won’t bother.
Norwich did this offer a few weeks ago for their away game at Huddersfield and they took about 1.5k. It is a bit late in the day, but still a good idea.
Seems there is to be a protest regards ticket prices. Arsenal v Liverpool tickets are £90I just wouldn’t pay it, and the sooner fans start to boycott away grounds that charge stupid prices the more chance they have of getting their wish.
I’m struggling to justify paying £63 for the Middlesbrough game. But that is for three so not quite as bad.
Let’s hope it isn’t a serious injury…
That interview after their game against Sheffield Wednesday Steve Evans looked absolutely gutted. The way we are playing a home win is around the corner and I think it will be Rotherham who go down and not us..
 I see what you did there, very supple guys.
He was a gift from a club that is awash with talented strikers so they got rid without giving him a real chance.
