What a journey!Hi Jayt, I certainly wouldn’t bother applying if I was you, not that you intended to do anyway, but there needs to be a clear, precise, accurate flow of information between supporters and the club. That would mean checking any written information 3 and 4 times to make sure you hadn’t put “upporter” instead of “supporter” in the subject matter. B) :P
Where? ;) :P
You spoil sport George! ….and I was just going to give you some positive karma for that Hitler video.

What a journey!I think the “no brainer” was big Daves decision having got the fee he wanted. Young James would have gone if he had wanted to or not me thinks.

What a journey!Don`t think this thread went the way JR planned.Maybe that`s why he has avoided it.
He was better when he was writing letters to the Observers letter page.Should have stuck to that
Eh? never wrote a letter to the Obby in my life sunshine. Had a spell at writing a weekly column for the WEP, but never the Obby.
Look boys and girls, at the time I started this thread, nothing was going Bobby’s way and because Fellini took it on himself to hand in a transfer request and lose a loads of money in the process, it allowed Martinez to give Big Dave what he wanted for Jimmy thy.
Some people on here seem to get more satisfaction pulling up other Latics fans for what they post, than venting anger at the manager who relegated us then feked off. I’m saying this for the last time now, if he had given us one season, just one season to try and get us back to the prem, then failed or not I would have patted him on the back and said thanks for trying. I was always and will always be a lightsider, basically because I love my club and IMHO I think Bobby has shat on us big time.
So there you have it knob dastardly, perhaps this post may make the front page of the Beano. :PFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Yes I am :)Oh – you didn’t mean me :(
I knew you’d be going George, may see you in some local drinking hole.

What a journey!……..embarrassed posting on a football website?? ….tee hee grow up man!
You write “tee hee” and tell me to grow up?
However, it’s good of you to pass on some friendly advice, even though you only chose to pick me up on on my Everton comments when I also referred to Moses going to Chelsea bench warming and then Liverpool probably doing the same.
Perhaps it may be you who are obsessed with the posters who have turned on the club who took our manager and then our players and the manger himself for jumping a sinking ship. Have a think about it. B)Not really, I didn’t even read the bit about Moses. You must be mixing me up with someone who is remotely interested in what you have to say.
Unless it is a mindless, ill-informed rant, about a previous manager and his reasons for leaving. Turning on the club that took our manager. Have you any idea how football works. If a manager leaving a football club upsets you that much I’d suggest it is probably you – and all the others like you – who needs to have a think about things.
Ok lets agree to disagree on the Everton / Martinez malarkey. I’ll keep the chip on my shoulder and you keep pulling me up about it, I’m sure one of us will get bored sooner or later. :silly:
PS do you know if our mutual friend is going to Belgium ?

What a journey!Tick Tock, Tick Tock; two more places to go !
This post is set to run !
Next up Chelski.
Don’t think Bob’s new signings will save him. He could sign 10 strikers and still only play with one up front ( mind you, Lukaka is a good un ), Barry is pants and Macca is not as effective ( careful choice of word here ) as Fellani. So it’s bottom four on Saturday at 16:50pm
I’m saying nowt!

What a journey!Just seen his first interview on Latics player. He has said that his aim is to establish himself as a centre half and that’s what OC has brought him in to do. He said that Stoke moved him around to suit the team not the player and that has hindered his progression. Showed clips of him in training today and he looks a big strong lad with a decent turn of foot. :)

What a journey! And I mean yesterday, not last season. For all the time he was in charge I kept by the line of “He is one of ours, we want him to do well”. When he left I – although saddened and disappointed – kept by the same mantra.
Last night though – I won’t be forgiving.
Whatever part he had in it, the poor offerings and very late eventual transfer left us with no time to invest in what we need – as someone said in other posts, a forward. Maybe that will come via the loan market but for now the late deal effectively shafted any option we had of immediate reinvestment – whilst QPR did get in some players who will make a difference going forward.
So for his part in that I really have lost the support I had for him. He was part of actions last night hat hurt us in terms of success this season. The decree nisi – the divorce is now complete. do I wish Everton bad? Sadly yes, they’re collateral damage, as I hope he goes down again and they have to go to make that happen.
Of course it’s just wishful thinking. Same as thinking he had some loyalty for us as we have still shown him.
Hey up mate Griff will be on in a bit saying you are embarrassing yourself.
Dis Everton how dare you!? :huh:From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!Kone is in the twilight of his career and wants to prove himself in the EPL, so can understand him wanting to play at that level, but again what game time will he get at Everton.
And how the f*** do you know what his objectives are?
Get your anti-Evetron chip off your shoulder John, you’re starting to embarrass yourself
OK then lets say his objective is to get a big bank balance and accept that he will potentially play limited football. Well he’s probably got what he wants.
I can just see him now running down to the Everton training ground last night at 10:59pm in his onesie and slippers to welcome Lakuku to the squad.
I’ve every intention of keeping my anti Everton chip well and truly on my shoulder and will put a bit of salt and vinegar on it from time to time. Do I give a shiny shyte what you think griff… errr no and I’m well past bothering about if I’m embarrassing myself or not. When you get a minute bob round to our house and I’ll show you loads of photos and a few videos of me embarrassing myself and others doing it for me, especially on my stag do, ……..embarrassed posting on a football website?? ….tee hee grow up man!

What a journey!I agree People should realise to some playing football is a job. If your boss said to you “Hey you don’t need to work for the next three years and you will still get paid £30,000 a week” would you be bothered. In my current job I wouldn’t be bothered, but if I was a footballer who wants to get on that field and strut my stuff, I’d be sick as a parrot bench warming, no matter how much money was going in my bank.
I wonder what Moses feels like having played week in week out for Palace and Wigan and now trains all week to sit on the bench and get 10 mins here and there.
I think Rodgers will only play him in cup games and the odd league game, so at 22/23 year old he will fade into oblivion like a rake of other Latics players have done after leaving for better things.
