Besides having top live music there is loads of stuff up for auction including cd’s signed by oasis band members and Latics shirts signed by the players.

What a journey!Why is Whelan sounding off when he obviously doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on? Very annoying, try and keep him not push him out the door!So you would sooner believe what some poxy liverpool rag “believe to be true” rather than our own bleedin chairman?
I think many fans and media are only picking up on what they want to hear from Dave Whelan.
Whilst bumming him up big style, which you would expect him to do being that such big clubs are interested in him and he actually believes in the guy, he always includes in his statements that he would love to keep him at Wigan.
That’s enough for me and I am hanging on to those words hoping he might stay, rather than getting myself all aggravated that Whelan is singing Bobby’s praises in order to get rid of him. Utter bollux! :angry:Have people forgot that DW has said from day one that he would not stop in Bobby’s way if a big club come knocking on the door for him and like the gentleman he is, he is sticking to his words. OK the opportunity has come a lot sooner than we, DW and even Bobby himself had anticipated, but it as and we have to deal with it.
There will be life at Wigan Athletic long after Bobby, DW and us current fans have gone, so for the time being lets just see what happens. B)From Matlock to ManU

What a journey!I still think Bobby’s dream job might still fall through. Big Dave has indicated the terms Bobby has demanded of the owners i.e. total control of all things football related at Anfield.
They are used to having a bench and a half of backroom staff I notice when we play them, they struggle to find seats for the entourage and 5 or 6 of um sit on the concrete steps at the side of the seats.
I also think there may be an issue if Bobby wants his own coaching staff. There are some experienced guys there at Liverpool with Steve Clarke and Kevin Keane just two who would pish all over Jones and Barrow with regards to knowledge and experience at top level.
Having said all that, the only manager I would like Whelan to go for is Ian Holloway. He likes his teams to play football, will have learned by his mistakes and actually looks and acts passionately about his club.

What a journey!When Bobby says, I’ll need Graham Jones, Graham Barrow, etc,etc; and the Yanks say Who ?This will test RM’s loyalty; his loyal associates or his cheque book. I think he will be a man of honour and politey decline.

What a journey!And i agree with your comment on his crossing ability. I seem to remember him whipping in an absolute peach at Upton Park not that long ago against us, from which i think Guillermo Franco dipped his bread.
