I’d be tempted to take Moreno on loan again next season, let him have a full pre-season with us and see how he shapes up.
As for Sinclair, he seems to have been on loan at about 10 clubs now and no-one has taken a punt on him, tells you something really and though he’s not been given many chances, when he has played he’s not really been that impressive…disappointed with him, thought he was far better than he;s turned out.
Probably cos chelski value him at about £12m and the clubs that have had him on loan have not exactly been as flushed as Barcelona or Man U.

What a journey!Well done Fulham but hate their manager with a vengance.
Will never forgive him for the after match comments made bout little wigan when Blackburn beat us 5-3 in cup. He proved himself to be a right vvanker that day, couldn’t even take victory on the chin, horrible, horrible man!!!If he did ever get the England job, god forbid, he would deffo need a personality transplant.

I’m afraid you are probably in a minority of a very few, JR. Would you say the same about him had he not made those comments about Wigan? Get the chip off your shoulder, matey.
Probably not, but he did. A very similar situation to me hating anything to do with the chubbies with vengence. Things the fans and that twort lyndsey said all those years ago still stick with me. Call it a chip or even babbies yed un gravy if you want, but there will be examples you have experienced in life and reacted to the same.
You know what I mean Griff, the very same feeling you have for your missuses ex boyfriends, the ones you know poked her, have done you no harm, but the very fact they did poke her means deep down you hate the barstewards.
Roy Hodgson is and will always be that pathetic no mark who belittled the team I love for no reason. He probably also poked my missus before I met her so I hate him even more. ;)

What a journey!I think if you actually read anything that was said at the beginning of the season or from November, Roberto never mentioned ‘improving on last season’s final position’.
So, when he said
“The club has done incredibly well over the past five years, firstly getting into the Premier League and staying there, last year not only staying there but pushing higher up the table, I want to carry on the good work Steve Bruce did here.”
or
“So much has changed at the club and there have been fantastic improvements both on and off the pitch, I am really looking forward to working again with the Chairman and everyone at the club and I am sure we can build on what has already been achieved”
in July 2009, he didnt mean “improve on last season’s 45 points and 11th place in 2010”.

Maybe I should ask him if he realises that even with a record low points score in this league he still managed to clock up more points than Sunderland did in two whole seasons, so things could have been a lot worse. You could ask him that, or you could ask him a question that is relevent. I would suggest that 35pts and 16th place in 2010 vs 45pts and 11th place in 2009 represents a failure, and with that in mind, will a 13th place finish with 40pts in 2011 represent a success?
As I said, he never once said that he would be ‘improving on last season’s final position’ – he said would like to carry on the good work done. We have stayed in the league, which was his first target and now he wants to start on the next part of his plan which is to try for a mid/top half position.
Staying in the league was the target – we acheived that and so it certainly isn’t a failure is it.
Now starting the season gloating that we would be top half/Europe contenders, and only getting 17 or 19 points in an entire season, that isn’t what I call success, plus it certainly doesn’t give me the right to go on to a team’s sites that I don’t support and call the shots.
I think I would prefer to ask him my question.
bleedin eck Jayt, i’ll start sweeping up the blood and guts before it gets too messy.

What a journey!More likely that Scharner’s agent has been on the phone to the Mail, trying to get Fulham to offer a bigger wage. Can’t see Moyes wanting Scharner at Everton. Why would he?
To be fair if you look at Scharner’s performances at Goodison since joining us, Moyes must think he’s a world beater.

Bin an up and down season and got misel frustrated at times but we’ve come through it OK. Will judge Bobby more next season when hopefully he brings in a few more players who can fit into his style of football.
Goint Higher Ince next week watching Motown Magic, if your out pop along and we’ll have a celebratary drink.

From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Your not seriously gonna open champagne to ‘celebrate’ finishin near the bottom of the league?Unlike the Wet Spams of the world we know were we stand in the arena that is “the premier league”. We are now ready to embark on the 6th consecutive campaign and for an owd fon like misel, its totally unbelievable.
So if you are a JCL, egg chaser or whatever, please don’t get like the many arraogant cocky gets who think their teams are Barcelona and should be aiming for champions league.
We are WIGAN ATHLETIC and boy am I proud to be a tic!!

What a journey!Well done Bobby. You have kept us up despite:-
1) Through no fault of your own having hardly any time to do any pre season business in the transfer market.
2) Losing arguably, our most influential player just weeks before the start of the season.
3) Having some of your best players distracted through the attention of other teams trying to sign them.
4) Being left a pish poor squad by the previous manager.
5) Attempting to play football the right way even though you know many of the players are not up to it.
6) Having, its got to be said, some of the worst decisions go against us and not having the luck go our way that some of our performances have deservedAnd to all the posters on here who have said from day one we would get relegated and in many cases have talked as though they wanted him to fail. To all those people and you know who you are;-

What a journey! What about Gohouri playing right back and let Caldwell return at CH. I think Gohouri would make a cracking right back, lots of pace, great tackler, good in the air and would link up great with the Zog.
Can you imagine the look of despair on the Wet Spam left back when these two come marauding forward. :oFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey! When Richard Keys mentioned about us trying to play football the right way, Andy Gray said “well obviously they are not as good as Arsenal” at which point Merson said “They are not as good as anybody”
The wife text me at the game to say I wouldn’t be happy at what Merson had said when I watched the replay. When I got in there was a wire mesh frame round the telly and all the orniments had been removed from the living room.
