Well according to this article on Blackett, he’s only slightly improved from a very dodgy two season introduction and it would appear that he needs a winger to bring the best out in him which isn’t going to happen at Wigan is it! I don’t hold too much hope with this one but hopefully will be proved wrong!

Cook has never managed at this level and is currently learning the hard way. To his credit he didn’t wallow in the good start to the season and in his post match interviews often said it was an unforgiving league with a bad run being just round the corner. Perhaps fans like you didn’t take notice of those words and got carried away with the home record and away win at Stoke. Let’s hope a good run is just round the corner, players back fit and a couple of good signings might get you and others behind the manager and team again.

What a journey!we are a much better side with him on the field though as we would be with Jacobs Massey and Grigg as well.And the results and performances showed that at the beginning of the season. Was Paul Cook inept during that period of games?. As people have pointed out, the squad is not as good as I and many others thought it was. Put that down to Cook if you must, as he bought many of them. I personally hope he gets the full season to do what he set out to do, keep us in this league. Hopefully when some of our better players come back and a few more signings come in we can start to consolidate our position in this league.

What a journey!If he plays in half the remaining games scores 6-7 goals that helps us get the points we need to stay up, he will do for me. There’s a long way to go with a lot more twists and turns to come. Seasons don’t finish at Christmas, but if they did we would have done enough to stop up. Bow your heads in shame those who have given up on us. Yes we are on a terrible run, yes we can get out of it with a bit more luck on the injury front and better finishing.
