What a well earned, hard fought three nurps that was today. Coventry made it really difficult for us and at times, so did the ref!!. :woohoo:
MOM for me was Donovan Daniels, closely followed by Morsy and Perkins. These are the games that win you promotion, very much similar to the Rochdale game. Teams set themselves up to contain us at home, throwing bodies on the line.
We are seeing all the various sides to our team this season, one that can knock it about and score for fun and also one who can grind out results like we’ve seen today.
Well done GC, another step closer to the Championship and as I expected, the teams around us cannot cope with injuries and suspensions, like we can.
Bring on the Donny! :cheer:
Pedant alert…..It’s actually Donervon Daniels! Unless he’s started learning the guitar! :)
It’s nice to see you back on here Fil, even if its just in a learn-ed capacity. B)

What a journey! The majority if not all the supporters who have followed Latics away all season will get tickets. The ones who want to go because it’s blackpool a way and want to go on the pish may not get a ticket. Seems perfectly fair to me. I can understand those fans who can’t commit to a season ticket due to work or family issues, but why suddenly do some of these same fans find time to go to Blackpool?. 3000 is more than a fair allocation for this match based on our away following all season and home crowds. If fans want to guarantee a ticket then they know what to do, but they can’t afford to wait and see if we are in a promotion race before they do it.

What a journey!Great result, in the end.. first half we weren’t convincing, bit messy defensively and no real fluidity further up the field. McAleny’s first goal was another blinder!! Would love him to sign for us, great player.Second half we were fantastic, Shrewsbury just couldn’t handle us .. Carry on playing this way and the league title is surely ours.
Why, did he score more than one? :P

What a journey!Speak to fans of other clubs and they will have the same opinion of refs even teams in the top 4.

What a journey!Tickled me when someone called him a big fat ugly summut and he turned round and shouted back about 5 times “have you no mirrors in your house”.

What a journey!Today’s 3 nurps are exactly the same as the 3 nurps we got on Friday. At this stage of the season results are everything, performance means jack shyte.
As for Holt, had a brief chat with him at the half time whistle, I joked that he may have got on the end of one of those crosses that Grigg just failed to connect with. Fair play to him is reply was, Will Grigg is a class player.

What a journey! The two P’s for me, Perky and Power, with Grigg not too far behind, being that he will probably be that 20 goal a season striker that Sharpy predicted. :cheer:

What a journey!…Oldham that is. :cheer:
Don’t think Burton will relish Millwall on Bank Holiday Monday !
If we can dispatch Rochdale; well it will be game on !
It’s just a pity that Millwall have chosen to take the sky money, rather than take the option of a postponement due to 3 key players being on International duty. :(

What a journey!DONNY …..You’ve done what I needed. Made me laugh!! And cry with a kinda pleasure of your kindness and sense of fun. Thank you!! I’ve improved your karma! But I have no idea why it is MINUS 23!!Didn’t you know Rich, having a large negative karma figure on this board is more sought after than an ASBO in Wigan.

What a journey! What a great player he was and influenced many world class players over the years.
One of the pioneers of football show boating, never frightened of looking an idiot if it went wrong. The fact that he was a heavy smoker, probably contributed to his early passing away and this should be a warning to other sports people, who think they can train, keep fit and get away with sucking chemicals into their bodies.
He will be sadly missed, but I’m sure clips of his fancy footwork will be shown on TV for ever more.

What a journey! Was excellent today; calm, composed and rarely put a foot wrong. Keep it up Stephen ! My MoM today, without a doubt !I totally agree with that. He has a great football brain and knows when to go forward and when to stay put. His passing is bang on, hard and to feet and gives the receiver more time to decide which way to go, Grigg was loving it.
The other thing I noticed was his heading ability, doesn’t look a 6 footer, but wins most of his headed challenges with some force as well.
Great acquisition to the squad and well done to GC yet again. :cheer:From Matlock to ManU
