seems very negative that lineup today.1-0 down,dodgy pen,we should be goin positive tryin to win games like this.my patience is wearing thin now with bob. :(
For a club our size £30 a game is too high, even if it is just for 1 or 2 games. However I was responding to the question about the crowd if it was free against Liverpool, just making the general point that in my opinion, the support we get from the people of this town (and the support the egg chasers get), is appalling in my view. I know we’re not the biggest town, but surely for 2 top flight clubs, we should be able to attract a combined gate of close to at least 34-35K regularly, especially with the ST prices both offer.In fairness though, it isnt just Wigan that doesn’t bother, apparently last week v Fulham, Bolton were offering lad and dad tickets for £12…empty seats everywhere
i did start a thread about the ticket prices for the liverpool game but it somehow seems to have dissapeared,anyone know why??
Maybe it’s the booing after the last few matches that have made him come out with this ,just a thought likei did mention this fact on my thread `booin last night`.it would p£ss me right off if i was him.3 points tomorrow would be nice,go above spud yead! ;)
rather odd timing these comments.would he not have been better coming out with them before transfer window? whatever he comes out with now he aint goin anywere till the summer anyway,all he risks doin now is getting the fans on his back. i think most fans would agree that if he keeps up his form until the end of the season then it would be hard to keep hold of him anyway, he would be better off keeping his mouth shut would he not?
Why oh why pay £2.5 million for possibly the most highly rated striker outside the PL then leave him on the bench until 10 minutes before the end?
He came on and almost scored with one of his first touches and looked the liveliest player on the pitch all evening.The sad thing was that again we were very fortunate at the end to come away with that point and again i have never seen as many mistakes from a top flight Latics team as i have with this one.
The constantly give the ball away,drop stupid airborne balls that end up in touch,pass silly balls around at the back and in midfield that put us in trouble,give crazy corners away near the end of games(our weakest aspect),attempt stupid acrobatic shots when asimple cutting pass is on. i could go on and on!
That is theteam we have today and you have the audacity to question the fact as to why the crowd booed at the end.
The performances at the moment are dreadful and we will get slaughtered if we play like that
on sunday.i take it from this that you were one of the ones booing? :(

no matter how bad you play ( personally i dont think he’s being playing that bad anyway ) you dont boo a wigan player !!read my earlier thread booing last night…

good move that by the club,i would urge everyone to bring them to every home game,it did look good when the players came out,might just get the atmosphere goin a bit more to.
Yeah it did look good, but ill be suprised if many bring them to spurs on sunday. Hope im wrong though. With Sundays game being on sky if a few people see a good atmosphere on the TV it could encourage a few to get down for future matches 8-)

Look the same, run (slowly) the same, same dramatic, theatrical arm movements whilst failing to win the ball, same gestures of frustration etc…spooky….I know its early, early days but he does not look like a man who will be here post May….hope I am wrong but Werder Bremen and Shaktar may have spotted the reality that has evaded the Spanish one…

I don’t agree with the booing but, i disagree when you said that it was 2 teams cancelling themselves out. for me Bolton looked like they wanted it more than us. In a game like this we should be well up for it and for most of the game we weren’t. If it wasn’t for N’zogbia we would have had no threat whatsoever. I agree that he did look gutted at the end but it’s probably due to the fact that he is trying to win games on his own as noone else looked like they wanted to.i really cant agree when you say that no one else looked like they wanted it,i was tense before the game and i`m sure the players probably flet it to which in itself probably played a part in a scrappy game.yes charles was our main threat but i think if moses gets a start on sunday he could also be a threat down the left going off what i saw last night,albeit only 10 mins.

I think it’s wrong to boo but I have been disappointed at our lack of ideas in the final third, if a player hears booing I’m sure he would know if it could be aimed at him or not.i take your point but which players in particular deserved to get booed last night?
Get behind them???????????????If they want my encouragement, as I’m the one paying to watch they can give me something to be encouraged about first.
Season ticket holder, but I’m not spoiling my Sunday afternoon off work to watch that diabolical rubbish.
Last season ticket I ever buy whilst the Spanish buffoon is here. Pick and choose next season, no matter what league we are in.
