      I would snatch their hand off for £15 M especially if we arnt gonna play him as a striker. Would want to get his replacement plus another in before we let him go though

        No Baines is by no means world class but I would have him over Figgy any day

          Baines is a lot better player than Figgy who imo is an average defender

            Henri Camara has been our best premiership striker. He was good at pretty much everything

                I’d take a guess that Martinez has said he wants to bring in 2 new players before the world cup starts. Im sure I heard this somewhere before

                  I think Baines looked better in the 2nd half as the left winger came back to help him. gerrard left him exposed for much of the 1st half. I think he will go as back up to Cole as Capello obviously prefers him to Warnock

                    I like the look of Redmond and Mustoe from what I have seen of them. I am suprised that Tommy Amos has been released, wasnt he supposed to be the next big thing?

                      Good post. Whilst Brenda has never been the best at the job the commitment and passion for the job cant be doubted as she has been at the club since the bad old days.
                      Same with Benson, never liked the man but has brought some talent to the club, Arry and Liddel to name just two and also a top class scout. Just hope that we can replace him

                        Who has said that the two Spanish lads are anywere near the first team only one of them has played for the reserves and he is hardly a regular and from what I have seen is no better than the English lads we have so I very much doubt any of them will appear for the first team

                          I hope he dosent go as I think we will struggle without him next season as he carried us at times this year. We should tell Brum that we wont sell him to them for any price

                            Also look at Spain’s run if they are to get to the final. Will have to play Portugal, Italy and Argies before the final

                              Would like to see both Mendy and Boyd come in. Mendy has always looked good and looked pacey when he played at our place. Boyd has scored goals season after season for Rangers and Jockland although cant see him coming here

                                  He is worth much more than 8 million and we cant afford to be selling our best players to teams who we will be fighting against next season. Only way i would sell himwould be to a top 7 team for around 15 mil
