I would like to see Cleverley play behind the striker and Charlie back out on the wing with Sammon up front. Gives us real pace on both wings and also someone who could unlock the defence in the middle
The standard of finishing can be called however how many clar chances did we actually have to score? The only one I can think of was Sammon? Also jrfartfan you mention about getting the ball to the wide men this is fine but how many times do the wide men cut back inside which is frustrating as we looked so narrow at times especially towards the end of the game
From what I have seen of Sammon he has passion and is willing to work hard for the team. If the rest of the squad had the same commitment as him we wouldnt be in the position we are
Surely there are players out there on free’s to cover in case of injuries. Who have played at this level or have at least played in the last 5 years
I think Keiren Westwood is the favourite for us from Coventry, 1.5m mark i think. But if it was me and i was going to the lower leagues i’d go for Alex Smithies from Huddersfield
Is Westwood not out of contract at the end of the season so he would be available on a free?
