The man deserves a statue outside the ground when he calls it a day on his time running the club.

What he said ^^^^

he must have wanted to know what a proper match atmosphere feels like and what a game that people’s heard of, against a team that peoples heard of must feel like……..awwwww bless him, pooor soul

wurriers players (4th time this season) turn up to a shop on a wafc matchday…….even their players want in on the act

I want to hear Donnelly’s story to see if he tells it himself or copies and pastes it.

Earlier on this season I was among his biggest critics, and rightly so.

But he’s impressed me over the past couple of months. He’s fitter, slimmer, and his game has improved accordingly. Definitely more mobile, more confident, and getting to the byline more.

If there’s an award for most improved player, he’s got to be a contender.

I agree with dave!

Some interesting stats for those who knock Jean (and if the guy who sits behind me is reading this, it’s JEAN as in Jean-Luc Picard, not as in the blue denim things you wear  )

Ronnie Stam doesn’t do to well in that list!

If, God forbid, we lose against Millwall, I will have no sympathy whatsoever for anyone who has chosen not to go the semi because they are saving themselves for Wembley – whatever the reason.

Very harsh of you Mr Griff
When the Millwall team get carried along to a shock victory on the wave of their vociferous support, those Wigan fans that chose not to go to the semi to support their team best not complain
Whilst sympathy might be too much I can certainly understand those who have taken the gamble on Latics getting to the final because they cannot afford 2 Wembley trips in under a month
For a family of 4 you’re looking at a minimum of £100 for your tickets + another £60ish to go down in your car plus upwards of £30 to cover food & drink plus any souvenirs the kids might badger you into getting. You aint gonna get much change out of £200 & if Latics do make it to the final you can look at at least £250 or thereabouts. Many people don’t have £450 they for out to watch 2 football matches
Okay not everyone who won’t be going is in a family fo 4 but the same principles apply no matter how many of you are going

Would I have sympathy? A little bit possibly. Do I understand? Yep completely
Has a father of 6 kids i totally agree!
Thankfully 2 are not interested in going and the 2 girls are going shopping with the ex! :-)

I am still of the opinion a Worriers fan should have no moderating powers on a Latics board.

The basic requirement is that they are a Latics fan. All those with moderating powers are that.

There is nothing further to discuss on the matter in my opinion.

I agree! It seems all the mods are in agreement :cheer:

So if we were taking the piss, or slagging off Bolton or Knobend, would you would also be sticking up for them or are you a closet peanut chucker as well.
It called banter, lighten up a bit.
