If WJ returns & helps to keep us up, surely he will be the one coming out smelling of roses.
I’m no gardening expert, but even I know roses need ManUre
I’ll get me coat….
If there is any truth in that rumour he is heading to Glasgow it sounds more like he is on garden leave…why would he be going there? It’s not transfer window and last time I looked we’re not playing Rangers or St Johnstone anytime soon!
If there is no truth at all in the rumours of Yootha’s departure, why haven’t the club issued an update on his condition and whether he will be well enough to be in charge on Saturday?
The silence is deafening
mate just text me saying joyce is on garden duty not sure what that means ;)
“Garden leave” I presume you mean :)
Usually a prelude to dismissal.

This would make sense whilst they hammer out a severance deal, given the 3.5 year contract!
Nothing will/can be announced by the club until a deal is agreed.
The medical stuff is probably just a smokescreen to cover up his absence in the meantime.
Of the 2, PJ for sure.
Can’t see either actually coming back though.
I’ve just been told that he is to leave the club by mutual consent by a mate of a mate! Not sure how he is privy to info like that but he said “You heard it here first” ! Probably bollocks but thought I would mention it !Not like you to spread gossip Phil…
Nothing on official site (yet).
It was about this time of day on a Tuesday that Caldwell’s demise was announced ;)
something about a manager that wears shorts does not seem to work
Totally agree. Said it many times a manager should look like one and wear a suit.
A manager who stands there on a freezing day in shorts looks like an ex player who wishes he still was playing and is struggling to make the switch to being a “manager”.
It’s a shame really because Yootha would make an excellent first team coach somewhere big (back to ManUre?) wearing his shorts working on the training ground every day with the players, but leaving the in match decisions to someone else.
Could wear a cheerleader dress if we winning
Long time since we had cheerleaders. Time to bring them back!!
I think we should definitely be looking for 7 if not 9 points out of these if we are to give ourselves a god chance of getting out of this while heap of a mess we are inWe’ll be needing his help at this rate :woohoo:
Yes, read that as well, that’s why I was exclaiming about who they are!
I wasn’t asking you personally Runcorn…it was a rhetorical question ;) :cheer:
Is the forum postponed because the “football consultant” was at the game on saturday. Im led to believe the last time we was managerless.Who the F is this football consultant?
Have the phone lines to Barbados been blown down? :woohoo:
Make of that what you will…all very convenient for me
Perhaps he will now be relieved of his duties on medical grounds

Let me get this right then. With six minutes left of our must win game he takes our main attacking threat off to save him from fatigue?Yep bet those extra six minutes would have feckin killed him
In fairness Bogle did pick up a couple of knocks, but he looked ok when he went off.
First week for a while we don’t have a mid week game.
Yet more proof Yootha is more interested in not losing than in winning. Yet in the programme he said we had 13 cup finals to go. Can someone please remind him on Wednesday (if he’s still here) that he can’t win these games on penalties :woohoo:
Joyce OUT
Not too early to say it
In the worst traditions of the original Yootha, I poured myself a stiff glass of wine the moment I got in.
What a pile of old f***y that was.
Simply got to beat Blackburn and Bristol C or it’s back to Southend next season.
Bogle off Grigg on when we need a win. No wonder the audience booed. Ok he’d picked up a couple of knocks but he could still walk….
Yootha’s in for a rough ride on Wednesday. And whose idea was it to water the pitch during the interval…it was pouring down 10 min later :S
It’s been raining a lot this morning in Leyland (still is..) so if it’s been like that at the ground we can expect a quagmire, thugby or not.
Here’s the forecast for today

You’ll need your big coat
