Enjoyed that Jimmy !

What were we thinking, two strikers on the pitch at the same time; Lancashire & Lowe :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Given we are still four behind with a game more we need to go for it. Looking at fixtures of teams above I’m not convinced anything less than 10/12 will do in final games. What a balls up keeping Joyce for Blackburn and Bristol games.

Agree, those two games hurt us badly.
I think Joyce is our worst Manager in nearly 50 years.

With Barrow ?

in reply to: Powell #157967

Cometh the hour cometh the man.

Take a bow Nick Powell.

Charlie Insomnia kept us up virtually single handed in 2010-11, could history repeat itself?
will be brilliant if we could take it to the last game of the season.
Nailed on !!!!!!

Did you not ring that number to report offensive behaviour; shame on you; cos if it was you who told the young lady to F off, there would have been an FA investigation :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The puppet has admitted dropping Gilks was nowt to do with him.

PUPPET OUT

Apparenty, he dropped Gilks because it would have been Gilks’ 10th game and we’d have had to pay Rangers a fee for him.

But aside from that, you still reckon Sharpe is picking the team?
What do you mean ‘aside from that’?

Barrow didn’t drop Gilks,he was told he couldnt play him, hence he wasn’t allowed to select the team he wanted too.

Its not that difficult is it?

Hence,puppet.
It’s not over until it’s over !

For Me, the next game: Gilbey & Morsy must start together. We must get as much of the game that we can, out of Nick Powell; he is a class apart if he wants to be. Same with Obertan; he showed some moments of class today. Feel safer with Gilks in nets. Jack Byrne looked keen and useful when he came on; so he should play a part in the game.

Well, what’s the odd missing bracket among friends !

in reply to: Strange dream #157663

I had a better dream Snowy. I dreamt the Worriers were knocked out of the Challenge Cup 55-0 by Shevy Sharks under 8s. The game at Newburgh sports watched by 20000 Shevy villagers coz all the squatters fans were in the pubs in Wigan blaming Mr David Whelan for the defeat. One was heard to say “This is all tight arses fault how come we ain’t got players as good as that four eyed kid who ran us ragged all afternoon” The dream ended with Shevy buying out the gits and taking their place in Superleague while the Worriers went on to ground share with St Judes. Now that’s a dream.

I dream of winning the euro millions jackpot and buying the eggs out and slowly and painfully running them into the ground.

First move would be to buy a ploughed field for them to play on.
Then install LHL and Donny as Joint Managers, and pay them lose bonuses.
Sell the entire squad and pocket the extra cash.
Bring in a bunch of no hopers from the pubs of Wigan as players.
Change their strip to Mr Blobby colours.
Sit back and watch their horrible fans (few exceptions obviously) squirm, moan and cry as their shitty club grinds into oblivion.

Other than that I would give it my best shot.
Beter, that HORC.
However, I would have to miss first team duties because I would be watching the Latics; so I would put our Peg’s cat in charge on egg chasing match days !

The start of stupidity from Europe.

I’ll just place a Union Jack over the flying arsehole European stars :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

What other club do you know that’s determined to penalise you if you leave; be as awkward as possible during your remaining membership, despite you having paid more than your fair share in subs; and tries to dictate what you can and can’t do or who you can and can’t speak to. Truth is, they are scared and jealous of Britain putting Great back into our title. Truth is that Germany need the EU & the Euro more than the other 27 countries because as a stand alone country with the supremely strong D Mark they would struggle to sell anything outside their own country. Truth is they failed to overcome us in two wars and their subtle plan to “pick pocket power away from the UK” has been rumbled !

Rule Britannia :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just one bottle of shiraz was it Leyland

On paper possible yes, but…… We have to play 4 of the top 5, 3 away! As loyal as i’d like to be, the picture doesn’t look good so i’m fully expecting us to go down. On current form, & with my blue tints on, i can only see us getting 9 points. Which is nowhere near enough.

If we are lucky enough to come back up next season, maybe Sharpy won’t be as naive and not get too giddy on deadline transfer day.

Yes, but for the top teams it could be squeaky bum time; then we’ve got to play without fear and try to take advantage of their nerves. We have nowt to lose !

Always remember Gerald Sindstat ( can’t remember the name of the footy programme on ITV – think it was on a Friday night ) doing a review of Johnny Rogers: quote – “he’s an electrician by day and a livewire on the field”

Nigel Mansel in the nets.
Billy the Fish.
Giuseppe Palladino.
Steady Nigel.
John Filan and the pigeon episode.

Cross this bridge when we come to it.
Were not relegated yet we only need couple back to back wins I know were running out of time but think were better concentrating on winning every game.
Done it before maybe there’s a twist to our season?

I’m with you on that, LS78.

Burton or Forest could implode; so we have to keep the pressure on and keep our fingers crossed.
