Still bleating about it.
The scene in my office: little huddles of BYJIAM ( as Papa christened them )bleating & crying away in the corner. Whilst the Leavers are sleeves rolled up, getting on with the business of running the company. Always been the same really.
Think I’ll piss em off and walk through the office whistling The Great Escape !
First job losses directly affecting people I know today, as a major North West distributor has announced they will be pulling out of the UK, at meeting with workers this morning.
A well thought out knee jerk reaction, then !
But whatever this company was distributing will still need hauling around the country, so his loss will be somebody else’s gain.
Aww what a lovely way of looking at it, he also has a farm and has just lost £3000 a year in EU money too, he’s made up.
I’ll pass on your thoughts to him, I’m sure he’ll be chuffed to bits.
Don’t talk such a pile of crap. The date for leaving has not yet been agreed, so until then it’s business as usual; and in the intervening period the farming subsidies will be re-engineered to suit our change in situation. I suggest you investigate why subsidies exist in the first place, then consider how this will change before making more knee jerk comments.
A lot of the remain luvvies that I have spoken to fail to grasp the importance of long term strategy and cannot see past their own short term greed. In fact I should re-name them the “Bugger You Jack, I’m Alright Mob”. These types are hardly the backbone of Great Britain !

You’ll thank him when you wake up and realise that he has rescued us from the clutches of the looming superstate.

Yeh, but if we lose we can always have a petition for a replay
Hope there was no Chubby Fooker in my seat !
Believe me, it is Beleave :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Can’t believe what I’m waking up to, hope Boris and his chums know what they’re doing.
The pound this morning versus the Euro is 1.22 its lowest since 1985, last night it was 1.31 and the stock market hasn’t opened yet,Expecting news of huge job losses and higher prices for everything but hey we’ll have our country back.
Well done leave voters
Don’t worry Tez, I can always lend you a few Quid
Wigan votes leave, at least gods country has it right.Come on you Blues !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have voted out, and when it all gets worse and goes completely tits up my conscience will be clear.
We have had a chance to make Britain great again, but not had the balls to stand up to this dictatorship. Its a good job all those lads from yesteryear who fought for this once great land didn’t have the ‘better the devil you know’ piss poor attitude to hide behind, or we would have been fucked many years ago.Brilliant HORC, I must make your acquaintance soon and buy you a beer !
1/12 to stay now and it’s only lunchtime, which says it all.If the leave campaign had 2 different frontmen, who didn’t put up Hitleresque campaign pictures, send leaflets through letterboxes with complete untruths on them and could answer any questions as to how peoples issues are going to get better by leaving they might have had a chance. As it stands they’re taking an absolute shoeing, as they have no answers.
I know what I’ve got now, in terms of my house, my job, my wage, my interest rates, no immigration worries, healthcare, workers rights & human rights. Plus staying is guaranteed to make the pound stronger, rather than weaker.
How much of the above could anybody state would stay the same or get better if we left? You just can’t can you?
Looking forward to paying for my holiday in Euros again.
Try Croatia, it’s actually better and cheaper than rip off Europe !
Better still, stay in the UK and use your ill gotten gains to bolster the British ( or Scottish / Welsh / Northern Irish economy, for that matter ).Sell your Japanese car and buy a cheap German one. etc, etc.
I honestly believe we will see Billy Liar,s true agenda once he is no longer PM. Watch him rock up with one of the top jobs in Brussels as reward for all his sterling efforts. It’s nailed on; along with his mate Osbourne !
I’m with you two boys !
Up the revolution !
Great Britain will lead, then others will follow and in five years the whole European assembly will have to be re-thought and re-structured around the original type of trading model that it set out to be.
There is only one way the break this modern dictatorship and it’s little old Britain that has to do it !As I’ve said I’m still undecided what to do, this was an interesting post on FB.Quote;
“I, probably like most of my generation, knew very little about the EU. I had done a Masters degree in the 70s; brought up my family, and by the early 2000s was ready to return to University. I was privileged to return to University to complete a Second Masters Degree; this time in European Policy, European Law and European Economic Analysis. Words cannot describe the horror I felt as I delved into the truth of the EU. Sends shivers down my spine to this day, remembering the horror of the realisation, that we had been hoodwinked into the EU by deceitful, disingenuous, intentionally devious means. The populace of the UK was never intended to find out the truth behind the EU, until they reckoned it was too late. Truth is it almost….almost…almost is too late. We already are, in the UK, all but a federal state in the United States of Europe. You never quite realised that, did you? Why? Because ‘ they very deliberately decided not to tell you! They deliberately created a political elite who knew full well that power was being ceded , systematically, Treaty by Treaty, to the EU. But who knew? They did! But were we the UK populace ever informed? Absolutely not! Why? They made mega millions from EU scammery & we the minions were shafted day, daily, monthly, yearly & forever. Where did your pensions go? Where did your schools, your NHS, your housing, your social services go? Well, £55 million per day, every day, every week, every month, every year….. Guess what? That is why UK is bankrupted for generations to come, with a £1.5 trillion pound debt. I wish I could enlighten the populace of the UK to the real truth about the EU. I spent a year studying the EU in depth, visiting both the EU Parliament and EU Commission in Brussels. Every word I heard in lectures, hundreds of hours of lectures, every word I researched for my thesis and every thing I saw in Brussels, lead me to the inescapable conclusion that the EU is an utterly corrupt, profligate, political monstrosity which has destroyed British jobs and bankrupted the UK for generations to come. The EU operates on lobbying, which is the technical term for bribery and corruption. Whatever Cameron says, EU law has supremacy over our UK law unless there is Treaty change. He may say so but the truth is that 27 other countries will never agree, this side of eternity, to change the Treaties.
So …..what is the connection between the EU, the Bilderberg Group and the almost completed TTIP? (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)
The Bilderberg Group meet in secret each year and they are a group of phenomenally wealthy men and women from the worlds of big business, banking and politics, coming from across Europe and the US.
The TTIP represents an integral component of Bilderberg’s attempt to rescue the unipolar world (New World Order) by creating a “world company,” initially a free trade area, which would connect the United States with Europe. Just as the European Union started as a mere free trade area and was eventually transformed into a political federation which controls upwards of 50 per cent of its member states’ laws and regulations with total contempt for national sovereignty and democracy, TTIP is designed to accomplish the same goal, only on a bigger scale.
The treaty is likely to advantage the corporations of both the US and the EU, while disadvantaging their people. It presents a danger to democracy and public protection throughout the trading area.
The Bilderberg Group are focussing on how to derail a global political awakening that threatens to hinder Bilderberg’s long standing agenda to centralize power into a one world political federation, a goal set to be advanced with the passage of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP),
Bilderberg globalists are aghast and there is panic in the ranks that their planned EU superstate is being eroded as a result of a populist resistance all around Europe, mainly centred around animosity towards uncontrolled immigration policies.
And just who might we expect to find at such a secret gathering? Angela Merkel, Herman Van Rompuy (ex President of EU Council), Jean Claude Juncker, (Present President of the EU Commission), Martin Schultz,( Present President of EU Parliament), David Cameron, George Osbourne, Tony Blair, Ed Balls, Rona Fairhead, (Chair of the BBC Trust), Michael O’Leary of RyanAir, Stuart Rose (ex M & S, and BSE Chairman), Bill Clinton, Barak Obama………..…and many more. What do they all have in common? They are all trying to persuade you to stay in the EU. Why? Because it is in their warped self interest to do so! Is any of this in your interests? Absolutely not! Their modus operandi is that truth becomes lies and lies become truth. Sound familiar?
No possible option available, other than to get Out of EU ASAP. Vote Leave!
Betsy M Mackay. Vote OUT”Dare I suggest you read the Purple Revolution, which reveals a pretty similar account of EU happenings. Dismiss it at your peril.
OUT is the only way !
No LHL I don’t
Nuneaton, you made a point originally, I asked how leaving would make that better. Despite leaving a full page article I still don’t see how you’ve given a definitive answer as to how leaving will make your plight better only that you won’t be answerable to ‘Them’. I don’t really see what I need to get, as you put it.
I have a number of issues which I’ve listed, which are real issues for each and every one of us or someone we know. I can’t see how they can be overlooked as what is important in this referendum. Lengthy Trade deals, border security, economy, unions, currency crashes, NHS. have a think about those issues and forget about politicians when you are doing it. Of course I trust financiers, banks & finance houses when talking about expectations. I only have to look at the falling pound on xe.com as I worry about paying for my Summer holiday in Euros. It isn’t rocket science, it should be all you need as evidence but the trouble is most people don’t understand money, the markets or finance.
The fact that Cameron has called for a referendum but is voting to stay somewhat negates your argument, Of course there are some things he’d like to change but it’s the overall package which keeps us safe. I think the only problem is he didn’t allow for how many little Englanders there are, believing Turkey and the likes are about to invade. it will be a heck of a lot closer than he imagined.
I worry massively about the effects of a leave vote, not because I want to stay, just because of what I believe will happen should we leave.
I think that if we leave others will quickly go to the polls to decide. I reckon Spain and Italy will certainly look at the idea.
Netherlands are already talking up their Nexit campgain; I think Greece and Itlay will follow, then Spain & Portugal.
