well lads i think you are in for a huge shock ,plans are ongoing for us to buy the stadium from whelan i told you first ….lindsey is god .

funded by pie sales i assume – oh i forgot they are still on the “things to boycott ” list

I think once he gets his first goal and gets that monkey off his back, we will then see a better player, come on lets have a reality check here, he’s moved from the championship to the premier league, to a club that does not have a proven striker at this level, who would not find that hard?

I think the lad as heart, once the first goal goes in then we’ll see!

We all know he’s not good enough, but he is the only other recognised striker in the squad. So, until we get someone better in January (hopefully) he is what we’ve got.

No amount of slagging on a message board – or encouragement, for that matter – will make him any better or worse.
Griff you are sooo wrong,
the way forward with a player like scotland who,s confidence is rock bottom is not to nurture him but to belittle and abuse him!
Just ask newcastle about bramble or bolton with megson! ;)
forgive me for saying this again where has he had any abuse ?

in the stadium there has been no booing, or cheering when he has been taken off,he has had a pretty easy ride apart from a few people on message boards he has got off lightly.
scotland is not the problem and i do feel sorry for him, because he would love to be better and grasp his premiership chance, the problem as i have maintained all along is the man who invested 3 million in him in the first place.

now he deserves the “slagging off”

U L – if you don’t give a “fig” why do u log on here – its a supporters site and of u dont even know n support the team – delete n LOG OFF!!!!

because when martinez has been sacked and mr whelan leaves us for the great sports empire in the sky and we are a struggling 2nd division club again – god willing i will still be there moaning about the way MY club has been treated by people who get paid(very well) to care and despite the excellent remuneration packages they get for doing the job are not very good at it.

Perhaps if people got off his back then maybe he’d do better.

Remember Bramble and N’zogbia at Newcastle?

I actually felt sorry for him with that miss tonight.

I’m going to stick my neck out here – he’ll be OK once he gets one. But people on here do him no good at all.

get real you fool – do you honestly think that scotland is low on confidence because people on here complain about him,
he has had an easy ride so far

not once at the dw stadium have i heard cheers when he goes off or boo’s when he is pants,

his real problem is he is low on skill or ability.
Have your opinion as you wish – but never call me a fool.
i take that back then but i was that shocked you even suggest that people on a message board are effecting his confidence,i did something i hate and insult a fellow poster. sorry.

What do ya think about last nights controversial decision to make 10 yes 10 changes from the side that beat Spurs at the weekend ! I feel for the fans who forked out £42 to see a reserve side at Old Trafford for the 2nd time this season ! ( They played Utds reserves int cup earlier in season and got stung for £42 then ! ) The top sides wouldn’t be too pleased either I would imagine ! It is tantamount to bringing the game into disrepute in my eyes ! Discuss !

playing gomez and scotland in the premiership !!

now that is “bringing the game into disrepute”

Is alastair campbell the master of spin is now working for martinez ?

the worst defence in the premiership conceded 38 goals,4 in the carling cup against a championship team, even 4 in a pre- season friendly to a first division team and what spiel does he come out with ?

“we were coping very well but its disapointing because for our standards it was a soft goal to concede.

No problem loudmouth they can bombard till the hearts content every confidence in our team

ps the game is on Monday you fool

i would have known the exact time and date of every fixture not so long ago but to be honest i dont give a fig anymore when the game is played,
i find it harder week by week to motivate myself to attend any more.

and who exactly is the fool me or someone who has
“every confidence in our team “

Yet again the FA believe that the World ends at teh M25.

No place for Leicester or Hull.

    :o

4 stadiums in the north west are proposed – 4 stadiums in the yorkshire/north east region so why not 4 in the south west ? it is the most densley populated area of the country

and the fact that the the MK stadium is a blank canvas with a constructed area for 45000 seats is something to do with it
I’m sure you meant South East and I agree with your post.

I have to confess that I’m biased, as I live in Milton Keynes. It is a good stadium and, as you say, it’s a blank canvas with an as yet undeveloped upper tier. A big advantage is it’s right by the A5 dual carriageway, is only 10 minutes from the M1 (even on match days) and has a mainline rail station.

When I can’t get to Wigan for a game, I’ll go and watch other teams and I’ve been to Stadium MK a few times. Couple of weeks ago I went and on the back of four straight defeats they got 9,000 on against Yeovil. Now I live about 4 miles from the ground and I left home at 2.30, drove there, parked up, got in and had a pint before kick off.

That’s a big part of why they’ve been chosen.
sorry i did mean south east

    Im not even going to say it :o :o :o :o :o :o

    no but i will

martinez signed this buffoon and also has ruined one of the best defence’s in the premiership last season, like stoke on saturday we have got done by a long ball,

this spanish t0sser hasnt a clue

and before you lot start about how far we have come or we are playing a big club, liverpool have not beaten us tonight – MARTINEZ HAS

in reply to: £3m for Scharner ? #15427
Scharner is our best player by a country mile and yes 3 million might be a good price but what price our place in the Premier League?Sell our best players in january and i cannot see anything other than relegation im afraid.

perhaps our best player could stop giving the ball away, everytime scharner or gomez get the ball it goes straight back to liverpool

They probably died from lack of punctuation trying to read it.

Honestly, you are entitled to send your message and request a response, but it just comes across as a rant, and a poorly written one at that.

yes it was a rant, written during the debacle at blackpool, and i make no excuses for that ,but perhaps when i get to 596 posts on a fanzine message board i may be as eloquent as you try to make yourself out to be.

but then again it may me some time to reach 596 posts as i dont stalk people picking up on there educational inadequacies, then again if someday i write a book i may become a ‘self styled’ superior custodian of the english language.
I very much doubt it, my 5-year old writes better ;)

I’m not picking up on your ‘inadequacies’ at all, I wouldn’t dream of it. I am merely pointing out, rightly, that your message would not get a reply (as I told you in August) because of your tone.

And please don’t flatter yourself that I stalk you.

Enjoy the match tonight, let’s hope we get a decent result.
i always thought the main job of aspiring authors was the quality of their research,to that end i suggest you dont give up your day job just yet,

check your facts before posting ” I am merely pointing out, rightly, that your message would not get a reply (as I told you in August) because of your tone.” if you care to look at the original thread you will see the ‘posted response’
