Theres a lot of teams in a worse posistion than us and a lot worse of financially!

Vat i think we will see some real talent coming into the club in January but i will say dont judge the money spent judge the quality!

I would like to see us chase a few players on the edge of the world cup squads such as: Owen (we could guarantee him first team to the end of the season), Bentley (same as owen), Heskey, Cisse, Chimbonda (would we have him back???), Toni etc!

you had to spoil the admiration i had for you and your optimism by descending into down right lunacy.

All these people calling for Bobbys yed i wonder if they were doing it at half time and one nill up , maybe all these folk were int Brick And sams after 70 mins fickle fo ookers

its only me calling for his head

oh and btw i stopped until the end yesterday but i envy those who were first to the bar in sams ‘ant’ brick.

and for your info ive been calling for his head since the wolves game and that didnt stop during the ‘giant killing cup type win’ over chelsea, because our battles this season are with teams in the relegation dogfight and to date we are sitting bottom of the table with a record of

    P – 5, W – 1, D – 0 , L – 4 , For 5, Against 11, Goal Diff – 6

not exactly pretty reading is it ?

I actually dont think we are playing that badly this season as a whole! However what i do think is that we are lacking leadership on the pitch and a bit of grit!

There seems to be no fight, we lose a goal and whereas teams since Jewell took over would close up shop and fight for the first time since then when this happens our heads go down!

Now when it comes to the fight would it be cynical of me to think its because every player knows that if a bid for them comes in Whelan will sell hence having no loyalty to the club!

Anyway i honestly believe come January when Roberto has a better chance of getting the players he feels could work in the prem together we will push on and finish strongly!

by heck lad i dont agree with you but i dont half admire your optimism.

the trouble with your hopes and thoughts, and it pains me to say this,is the position we will be in by january will hinder any attempts we have of attracting anyone.

read it properly YICKTICMON, i said i cant see him staying you plank

SCOTLAND ( tries, but not good enough, be a good sub tho) KEEP

and you have a cheek to call him a plank

vat 69 and his mates  calling for roberto,s head so
early into the season is laughable!

making a god out of him because he was a fans favourite in a past life,is just as laughable ,the man hasn’t a clue, and as i have stated in another thread i was calling for his head weeks ago, difference now other people are cottoning on to him quicker than opposition scouts.

jewell may have had no plan B, but the spanish one it seems doesnt even have a plan A.

SO THEN LOUDMOUTHBLUE WHO U WANT IN CHARGE THEN, I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW

    so thats your response is it,put up with c r a p, because there is no one else, this spanish t o s s e r hasn’t a clue.

and no matter what spin you bobby lovers are going to send in my direction, deep down you all know i’m right

martinez was good for us in a past life and should be respected for it but dont let that get you all misty eyed.

Yes and sacking our manager would be a great idea wouldn’t it?

even better if we sack jones and barrow at the same time.

Something not right here, we come out late after every half time break and then collapse quicker than England’s middle order.

Also captain needed desperately, we seem to have no leadership out there at the moment.

mccliesh showed today how to manage,he went 2 up on nzogbia, the only player doing anything, pushed up on the ineffective diame and thomas and bingo, what did the spanish one do – you got it nothing :o – well not until birmingham scored their third then when all was lost he changed, no doubt he will state the positives on mod – we restricted a team to only 3 second half goals.

No chance, with the clown Megson in charge Bolton are doomed.
Even most Bolton fans believe that.

trouble is with that theory bolton will sack megson before whelan sacks the spanish one.

That why the feck should we go and hide after a 1-0 defeat away to a mid-lower half table side when we didnt go and hide after enduring 2 or the worst 3 seasons ever.

    Comprendez?

so why do you feel the need to tell us about your aggregate and average attendances – i’ll ask you again and your point is ?

Or getting just 15 or 19 points in an entire season?

Yeah, it was a real p1sser in 2002/03 when 754,267 (39698 per match) people watched us become the worst side in premiership history.

It was just as bad in 2005/06 when 644,180 (33904) watched us beat our own record.

Imagine how the 616,216 (32432) people who went to Pride Park felt in 2007/08 when their side took the mantle of whale club ever. Imagine how relieved the 823,540 (43344) people who attended the SOL that season felt that no longer would Sunderland be known as the whale club ever.

It would have to be a big place for all those fans to hide, dont you think?

All in all, thats over 2.8 million people who didnt go and hide when their club was doing whale and getting bad press.[/quote]

    and your point is ?

never forget that night you took us into your local , good to have you home

and another reason not to forget it was while you lot sat getting tanked not a thought was given to the well being of the driver sat there sober,he didnt even get the usual bob cap full of pennies because everybody was too p1$$ed ! then again there is more chance of the ginger one going 90 mins without moaning than getting a touch out of you lot from stubshaw/golborne
