Coyle made most teams look good earlier in season but without a doubt best team we played after Leicester were derby.
Burnley are 19 points clear of us surely you your not blameing refs for were we are in the league. Its a changed not blamein Owen Coyle. :cheer:Nope there shite full stop like the clown who didn’t think Ali should have walked against wednesday
Was having a great day today at the cricket club next door , it had the feel of a pre season friendly sun was out everyone enjoying a few beers , and that was the performance we got , their is a bigger picture to this, would you all want Maloney Callum Jordi and a few others playing and getting injured for the rest of the season, nope , enough said let Uwe do his job , and if it doesn’t work out tough another season with shit refs .
PS and how their second goal counted was be yond me , they brought the free kick in at least 10 yards more into play, as I said shit refs/officials .
The perch booking was laughable, both ran at the corner flag fast, burnley player turned round and ran into perch, booking? Complete clown
But why not play the same team as Friday.
We clearly weren’t good enough today but we are better than that.
Callum came on in the 2nd half though didn’t he hence the improvement??
Because he’s looking at a bigger picture than you. Pick same team by play offs were shot, rotate keep them fresh and come the play offs then play the best team, whatever that may be. Which I’m sure will be different to what those moaning on here think it should be.
The architects of the display on Friday, Macca, Waghorn, Maloney & Espinoza haven’t played the equivalent of a normal seasons compliment of games between all of them, Gomez has been sat on his backside for a great deal of it as well, so resting players because of the ‘games played’ excuse is a lame argument.
How do you explain not rotating Fortune, Boyce & McArthur.
Fortune is being rotated.
Boyce and mccarthur maybe don’t need to, rosler works with them every day and knows whether there fresh or not.
Maloney and roger have had long lay offs, cannot honestly have expected them to start today.
I’m guessing wag horn was injured or he certainly would have made the bench

Then he needs to straighten the picture cos today it was well off centre.
And you said it play the best team – That was Friday’s.
Exactly, it’s not about the picture today but the big picture at the end.

We win .. He’s a tactical genius
We lose .. Why’s he tinkeringThought we put up a good show in the second half.
To complain were not good enough against the second best team in the division is a bit short sighted!Am I missing something?Espinoza is brilliant at the running around and tackling bit, but at times his passing is shocking.
It was exactly the same yesterday. He had a decent game but was behind McArthur, Gomez, and Perch for me.
Agreed but the 3together give us a great mix in midfield, mccarthur has been awesome recently
Fair play WGTB but you really need to find something better to do!!
Agreed, no loan players in the starting lineup, best performance for a while, coincidence? waghorn first centre forward we’ve had for a while with a genuine eye for goal, roger great energy unlike some who’ve been in there lately, and as for Gomez, can’t resist the digs at the booboys behind me who have finally been silenced.. Bliss!!
Caldwell came on over Barnett as Barnett is a left sided centre back whilst Caldwell more suited for the sweeper role. Did arsenal score whilst he was on? Therefore correct sub in my view.
Also Barnett since his injury has had a few wobbly games hasn’t he… The bigger issue could be how long we lose ramis for though?
Hardly the wrong starting line up… We were 8 mins from victory
Wrong subs… Taking Callum off was a strange one but we will never know
Wrong line up in the pens… Again who knows .. Hindsight a wonderful thingI have a massive issue with Powell though he really is p1sing me off plays for himself, that shot from 40yds summed him up, he’s got more big headed as the season goes on but where was he when we needed a pen taker.
Anyway sure the boo boys will take the easy option of blaming Caldwell, at least he had the bollox for it.
And as for Gomez bollox after two misses .. Top mon!!
Overall a fantastic effort
If it’s his right foot it won’t be a problem !!
Or maybe he thought Powell was being a lazy git and macca was having one, pretty sensible subs in my view. Fortune to hold it up and use mclean pace on the break
I just thought that we should have carried on pushing at 2-1 as they were well on the ropes and I felt that taking Powell off ( For obvious reasons of shutting up shop ) was maybe a mistake and the Gomez substitution although backing up the shutting up shop theory was also puzzling! I have sort of contradicted myself there but what I am saying is, we could have got another if we had just kept on pressing
