Did you get to see the sheepskin coat?
Well done. Our fitness and intensity is definitely paying dividends. Nice to see the ref not giving in to Bully boy Wenger. He’s one mard twat.
They don’t like it up em!
Get someat at Fulham and we can all have a party against Newcastle.
Oh and if the linesman had done his job it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.
I noticed when Caldwell received the ball and went forward, Diame stayed in midfield and eventually when the ball came back he didn’t fall back and was just strolling.
Caldwell managed to get back within five yards of the play by the time the ball went in the net and he had been the highest player up the pitch.
So any number of players could have been back covering. He spotted a chance to out number Chelsea, and i’d rather us be positive because in the long run it will pay off for us.
FFS! Our last ever game away from home in the Premier League moved to a Monday friggin night.
I reckon on a Saturday at £20 a ticket we fill that end like United the other night, increasing our chances of winning imo now we’ll take 2000 tops.
Never seen us do well here and I now believe the away pub The Fernhurst has been taken over and it’s home support only, just a head up before everyone turns up 2 hrs before kick off with nowhere to drink.
We will never fill that end and thats a FACT!!!
Did we not fill that end in the FA cup when we were lower league? I remember it being quite full anyway.
click were ??What is the picture for April ?
Please tell me its not Gomez.
In fairness the lad did well when he came on today.
He did. So why bother to slag him off in the first place.
Because of the absolute contrast between Maloney and Gomez in the 3 games Maloney has played. It just makes it even more obvious what kind of player is required in that position. Not just tappy tappy football but someone who can chase down the ball and grit it out when necessary and also provide good balls and make good decisions.
Your right, i could have picked other players as well, unfortunately Gomez sticks out like a sore thumb now we have a player that can show us how to link up the midfield and still help to keep things tight as well.
I don’t boo him and on here its just a bit of banter.
Like you always say nobody listens to us anyway.

2 Hours and down to DW Stadium for me.
Be there before 12.30. If the 12th man theory is correct, then we will be fine.
We Shall Not Be Moved! Can’t fault ya fella.
Well he is our top scorer Yosser!
What does that say about our strike force?
Although if Caldwell keeps up his scoring exploits he might find himself in pole position.
Does Dave from Skem still post on here post VAT 69?
His breakdowns were legendary.
Did Bob get to experience one Griff?
Good question Griff!
The main thing i’d like to ask him, is his opinion on why he thinks we have had a couple of obvious periods this year, that we have seemed to have played poorly and the results show this. Followed by periods of really decent football, even though results haven’t always gone our way.
The two good periods are now and the time before Christmas when we drew against Chelsea and Liverpool. Before, we really struggled and afterwards until around now, when we have played well for a number of games now.
Just like to know if he can put his finger on it.
The other is with the number of corners and crosses that we now seem to get and the lack of goals there from, how does he think we can better utilise these situations as it is really noticeable from the stands the amount that the ball actually gets into the box.
Constructive questions i’d say?
Is it not filmed at media city now ? Quick drive down the east lancs and a couple of hours talking crap, puts a million pound salary in his bank account.
I’m just jealous.
Looks like a man who is feeling the heat! King Ken of the Kop that is.
Some good comments there Tyldesley.
I think the general grass roots level in Spain though, ushers through more technically gifted players and although Bilbao might have had a more physical approach in the past, i bet the quality of player was still more technically astute than what English football has coming through.
Granted, we could definitely be more intense in our game play but man for man we could only dream of having the same ability in depth as they do.
Even if we train our youngsters to play like this, they will get poached eventually.
It would be interesting though to show our players the video of last night’s game and show how the system is expected to work and what is expected of them.
