On balance a pretty disappointing result for us I think.Yes they might be drained for Wednesday and only looking towards the final…but more likely they’ll be brimming with confidence. Plus, what better way to prep for the FA Cup final than 5 no pressure premiership games that you can treat as training sessions?
I’m way less confident now about us getting a result against them as I was before today.Fair play to Pompey tho…brilliant achievement considering their situation and always good to see twitchy face get beat.

Pompey and Hull have already beaten us this season so I wouldn’t rely on those games for points. In fact Pompey hammered us. They have both won 6 games this season which is only 2 less than our fantastic total of 8. You still confident?They will still be confident as they just kiss bobbys 4ss. So deluded. Bullard will be bouncing when they play us. And Pompey will turn us over. Then there will be the excuses and ‘platforms to build on’ and the next game is a cup final drivel from an overated manager who has proven time and time again just how clueless he really is.
If we manage a win on Wednesday.With Portsmouth officially relegated now and them having a cup final tomorrow, we really need to get our teeth into them and get the three points.
West Ham yet again got the referee’s decsions going for them today and went above us on goal difference, so we are both 4 points clear of Burnley and Hull.
A win is a must on Wednesday, it won’t decide our fate, but it will pile the pressure on those below us and leave us just needing a result against Hull for safety.
I just wonder if Bolton are going to get dragged into it?
Portsmouth will turn us over – those players are playing for their futures – i.e last few chances in premier league shop window.
Martinez will now start scotland in all remaining games because he has scored once. He is also saying how well Gomez is doing in training. Watch him start Gomez and Scotland, Moses on bench, Rodellga on wing and us lose 2 nil at home. Be interesting to see what the ‘martinez will take us to europe next season’ brigade have to say about him then.

cant believe all this negativity, ok we have had a very bad season in relation to previous prem seasons, but come on,nothing but doom and gloom on ere, this site is no where near what it used to be, its infected with negativity.
We will play Hull soon probably the defining game on us staying up or going down, Hull fans are up for it in there thousands despite there own bad season, we on the other hand have give up and only too quick to slate all that is Wigan Athletic, dont bother going to the game stay away, in fact watch the chubbies go on holiday and tell everyone you have watched the chubbies all your life,never missed a game bla bla bla, we are better off without you.Boring post.
