There was a rumour that some folk were so obsessed they had a picture of them with RM as their signature to show they were his mate, and still have it to this day. Can think who would do this.

In his final premier league season, the culmination of his faith in Caldwell, injury selection problems and insistence on all the passing in the world ended in the disaster of relegation. He also steered them to an FA Cup success. Which is as brilliant as relegation is devastating. Kind of cancels each other out.

The bobby happy clappers still can’t take it. They still dream of their little prince, looking through romantic tearry eyes, still asking why.
